Only if he partners Wales. They make a good midfield.
:D

Thats where he's playing lately. Man City play a 4-3-3 with Kompany screening the defense and Ireland and Elano ahead of him. If Kaka comes, they'd have to play two defensive minded midfielders to play behind Kaka. Ireland probably can play that role, but it would restrict him.
SWP Ireland Kompany Kaka Robinho

That, organised a bit better.

Will probably get Villa if this goes ahead.

Ireland has improved, by are you really saying someone should NOT sign Kaka to accomodate friar Tuck? ;) I mean, its KAKA.

But yeah, he will improve their competent offence, but what they need is defenders as you said. But this signing will HUGE for them. They can tempt several great players with him there, they tried to tempt top players with money, but non were willing, Robinho only because he had no other alternatives. But with Kaka there, it opens up the door for lots of quality players, because he brings prestige.
Thats not what i'm saying. I'm saying they don't need another attacking midfielder. They should focus on more pressing matters. Spending 100M on someone you don't need, is meaningless, be it Kaka or Diego Armando Maradona for that matter. Their defense makes Athleti look like Italy Circa 94. Thats what they should look to improve.

Seedorf interview, this stuff is no joke...

"These are marvellous figures," the Dutchman told Sky Sports News of the hyper-offer.

"It's very clear that City is sending a message to the world that they want to become one of the big clubs in the world in a very short time.

"I think the message is loud and clear for everybody.

"We're very good friends. He's used to the attention, we're all used to these types of things, though the amount changes - but we're all professionals and we know we have to deal with it in a fery professional way.

"He's a very important asset for us in the squad [and] for the club.

"He's still a young player, but he has done six or seven years already in Milan."

Seedorf would not be drawn on whether or not Kaka would want to move to Manchester City - if an offer is accepted, as has been suspected.

"He will think about it, but I cannot talk for Kaka, this is a decision only he can make, with his family," said the Dutchman.

"It's not something that you are going to be taking it easy about.

"It's a serious offer. I think everyone's considering the pros and the cons of such a movement.

"Kaka's a great professional and he's always committed to his work with the team.

"It would surprise me if he would leave in this month, but on the other hand, I don't know what the personal motivations could be from his side and also from the club."

He reiterated that the move will not be motivated by the money from Kaka's perspective, but that he could be doing Milan a favour of sorts by agreeing to go.

"When you make a change like this, you are not just changing because of the money," said Seedorf.

"That is not what he needs - he has a big contract already - when the player in general makes a change, the money is a consequence of the choice made, because of the project behind it and the new motivation that you can create for yourself to perform at your best and even better for the future.

"He is earning a lot of money already, it is not going to be life-changing for him, even to get a couple of million more.

"I know him also as a friend. if he may decide for a change, it would be for a long-term project that he could be an important part of, where he can make a difference within a team for a long-term project. He has to be motivated by the project, not the money.

"It's a difficult situation. Kaka is a player who has done so much for the team, so much for the club, so much for the fans. From that point of view, this would still be doing something important for AC Milan: bringing a lot of money for the club on which they could build for the future - if you want to see it from a positive side.

"On the other hand, he's still 26 and he could still play a number of years here in AC Milan, playing spectacular games for the fans of AC Milan, who all love him, being a great team-mate and a club icon for the years to come."

Having been the subject of similar but slightly less spectacular interest from Real Madrid in recent years, this is not entirely new territory for Kaka. Seedorf has sympathised with the fans, saying, "They're all worried.

"We're practically used to it. Maybe this offer is more concrete than it has been with Madrid. The reaction of AC Milan is maybe a little different than they had with Madrid.

"The fans are the ones who always suffer because the fans are always dream of keeping their best players. Having one of the best players leave is definitely not part of their dreams, so we really understand their feelings."

Good, let Milan sell their best player, the only one capable of giving us a threat, while they replace him with 3 or 4 expensive stars, and let them fail to gel and watch them struggle to make CL. Meanwhile, we enjoy Man City doing the same thing, buying a load of stars, get no success and their owner eventually stops with the ridiculous spending.

If Man City do sign him, I would not mind Man U or Chelsea to continue dominating the EPL. I want every team that thinks they can just buy success o fail miserably.

That's a rather contradictory statement, don't you think?

So didn't those two teams did exactly that!! Paying huge sums for players throughout the years. United just payed 30 mil euros this summer for one player. Chelsea payed around 45 mil euros for a player that sat on the bench for 3 seasons.

I think all this talk about money buying success means nothing, sorry...

Can anyone tell me why a player at their peak would want to join a team knowing that it would be at least two seasons before they could play at the highest level again, by that I mean Champions league, it beggars bloody belief.
I don't believe he will go there.
