Mourinho Puts Five Up For Sale
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, new Inter boss Jose Mourinho has put five senior players up for sale, including Hernan Crespo and Dejan Stankovic.

The Special One was unveiled to the Italian press for the first time yesterday, where he admitted that he had already begun his transfer plans for the coming season.

The Gazzetta says that Mourinho will put up for sale four members of Inter’s senior squad. The biggest of the quartet to be sold will be Dejan Stankovic, who was a favourite of former coach Roberto Mancini, but struggled badly for form and fitness last season.

One of Mourinho’s ex-players at Chelsea, Hernan Crespo, will also be offloaded, as will another striker David Suazo, who never settled since his move from Cagliari last summer.

Error-prone defender Nicolas Burdisso is the fourth player up for sale, and this is perhaps less of a surprise, given Mourinho’s defensive mindset.

Finally troubled Brazilian striker Adriano will also be made available when he returns from his loan spell at Sao Paulo.

The money that Mourinho receives for these transfers will then be used to fund two or three big signings, with Chelsea’s Frank Lampard continuing to be linked with a move to San Siro.

If we hadn't bought Amauri, i'd really suggest we go after Adriano. I still think he will be a really great player if he sorts his head out and gets the fuck away from inter

Some truth? :p Who the hell thinks Lazio plays good football? They just have 3 ~good players.

Knowing Lazio's financial status it's probably some loan with option to buy him if he doesn't score in the first 10 minutes for 1kg of peanuts.
I think Lazio play good football.

Few teams have such a clear imprint of the coach as Lazio do. In 06/07 they played magnicifiently, despite a poor squad.

Their first half of 07/08 was poor, because they didn't have the squad to handle both CL and Serie A, especially as half their was squad was injured at the time. After their elimination they started to play better though and when they were able to field the trident Pandev- Rocchi- Bianchi with players like Behrami and especially Ledesma fit in midfield, they started playing well again.

I'd like to see what Rossi does with better and more quality at his disposal.

Hmm, Stankovic.
He had a disastrous season and he'll be 30 in 3 months. Still, i wouldn't mind him.

He won't be cheap and he won't accept the bench, though. But wit him we'd have a sub for Camoranesi and the central midfielders.

Beh, we'd never buy him, what the fuck am i talking about.

:agree: totally agree. Lazio does play great football. Rossi managed with the few sources that he had to built a good team. They were very close to qualify for second round of champions league (last day exit). And when all injured players returned to the team, they started to pick form back and managed to get some great results (spec. derby win againsts roma).......

Same here, i thought they played some good football at times even better than Roma's. It seems a bit like a tradition with these Roman teams as they always play attractive football even if they have poor seasons or below par squads.

Dellio Rossi had a hard time with that squad and his boss doesn't help. It will be interesting what he does with that squad for next season, the thing that doesn't help them is that they didn't recruit very well last year so its as they need to start from scratch.

True that. And by the way, I really hope we are not considering going for Burdisso as has been suggested.
Juve: Burdisso, venerdi visite e firma

Juve-Burdisso:e fatta!
