Just heard a couple of rumours from a pretty well informed Roma fan on another forum:

1. He believes that there is a deal in place for Roma to be sold. It is meant to be a joint deal involving the Swiss and German groups that were interested before.

2. Spalletti to Fiorentina and Prandelli to Juve.

He is probably right about the first one, I'm not convinced about the second.

Maybe Toblerone? They could put the candy bar on the Roma shirt. They would sell a lot more chocolate.

Palladino played a very good match.
He did, as in dribbling his man all the time, but the dude still has no end product, besides passing Milito in the last goal with open net (No Samp player for over 60 meters, Palombo is sooo stupid to try to dribble there), Palla all game long didnt succeed with finishing off his moves with good crosses or shots.

Its his typical issue, little to no end product despite being gifted enough to do more.

Serie A is sponsor rich

Sponsorship of Serie A teams has increased by £3.5m over the last year, according to a report commissioned by StageUp.

A staggering total of £79.5m has been spent on sponsoring the 20 teams that inhabit Italy's top flight this season.

The figures come despite the economic downturn and are largely down to long term deals signed by the clubs before the credit crunch really began to bite.

Torino are the only club in the Italian First Division to have suffered a dip in revenue from sponsorship.

The Granata's deal with Reale Mutua worth £2.6m expires at the end of the season and has been replaced by a £2.2m agreement with Renault Trucks.

Things look set to change, though, as 11 teams will have to renegotiate their current deals or find another sponsor in time for next season.

Siena are the unlikely winners of the report, netting £13.5m from local bank Monte dei Paschi for the naming rights to their stadium.
