Ferrari: Balo abuse isn't racist
Wednesday 18 March, 2009
Genoa defender Matteo Ferrari thinks that Inter starlet Mario Balotelli isn't being jeered for the colour of his skin but because of his attitude.
Balotelli has been the victim of some unsavoury chants and incessant whistling over the last few weeks.
Opposing clubs, such as Fiorentina and Roma, have been fined for racist abuse emanating from their supporters aimed at Mario.
“I think people whistle him for another reason rather than the colour of his skin,” Ferrari told Il Giornale.
“He has to change his attitude and I say this as someone who can act as an older brother to him.
“There is a code in football, right or wrong, that you cannot behave as he has at that age.
“He will only end up making enemies if he carries on and he shouldn't look for trouble.
“He can't keep using the old excuses because he is being shown love and compassion now.”

Just wanted to post it because I thin what Ferrari said is just right.
