We don't hear daily about someone who wants to buy an Italian team. Maybe just because Roma is facing some financial problems.

I myself don't think I'll easily accept the notion of someone/family other than Agnelli to take over Juventus, in spite of their rigid financial policy. Just traditions, my friend.
You talk as if the current Agnelli family really give a toss about Juventus.

As Juve revolution said, they don't look experts in footballing. They're just Juve fans who have no past experience in moderating a big club. We don't need them to moderate Juventus, just hiring the appropriate board would be the best they can do, plus keeping their financial policy as it is right now.

Also I can't say that they don't care about the club. Because if they don't, so why didn't they sell it in the previous summer and they knew that the debts, restructuring Delle Alpi, rebuilding the team, etc...would be an endless headache. At the same time, I can't say that I disagree with you.

Ahmedios, would you mind someone like Soros for example buying Juve and taking control away from the Agnelli family?
That's a hard question to answer. :D

As I partially mentioned, I'm a bit conservative when it comes to traditions and history. That's why I prefer to give a chance to the new generation of the Agnelli family to show us what it's made of. And up till now, they aren't that bad nor that good.

If the new generation fails and takes the club to a dark era, I'll be the first one to support the notion of selling Juventus. I prefer an Italian businessman by the way.

Fair enough.

Well, my take on the subject is simple, I want Juve to be successful at all costs. More often than not, to be successful, you need to momentarilly brush away traditions etc.. I know eher you're coming from though, I too would prefer an Italian buisness, A Juve fan perhaps as he would probably care for the well-being of Juve more than anyone else.

Edit: I was curious to find out how conservative you were :D

This viewpoint is worth to be respected as well. :pint:

Wish I'd satisfied your Agnelli's desire! :D

Why is everybody keen on buying Roma? Why not Juve or Fiorentina for example?
1)Franco Sensi is old and he could die and plus everyone hate Rosella btw

2)Sensi`s company ItalPetroli is in debts for 270mln euros. main reason

3)Fans are tired of selling some of the best players from Roma because they don`t have money to offer them new contracts.

:p

Looks like Lazio wants to sign Pazzini. If that happens looks like Viola has high hopes for Jovetic. If they don`t get Pazzini they are going after Lanzafame though.

Also,Roma has been linked with Kameni.I just don`t understand their transfer market plans. If someone is worse then our staff then it`s surely Roma. The last thing they need is a new GK.

IF we`re to believe media, look what Gattuso said

Two months ago

"I hope that Ronaldinho comes to Milan"

"He is one of those players that play's in a position where he can really make a difference
."

And now what he said today

"On Ronaldinho, we already have players with his characteristics,” said Ringhio.

“There is Pato, there is Kaka, there is also Seedorf, we need a different type of player. We shouldn't be talking about Ronaldinho.

So what is the real truth? Are we to believe media or Gattuso changes his mind every month or so?

Wenger: I'll Report Inter To FIFA
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he is preparing to report Internazionale to FIFA for an alleged illegal approach for midfielder Alexander Hleb...

The Belarus international has been linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium since the turn of the year, with Barcelona and Inter reported suitors.

Wenger has made it clear he wishes to keep the tricky playmaker, and reports surfacing in early March that Inter had held private talks with the player without consent from the club infuriated the Frenchman.

A fortnight ago, Wenger alluded to reporting anybody who illegally approached Hleb, fellow alleged departee Mathieu Flamini, or indeed any of his players would be reported to FIFA.

Today, the manager told the club's official website that he has learned more about what happened in Milan, where the club went to play against Inter's bitter city rivals in the Champions League.

He is not yet revealing what the revelations of the Milan meeting are, but the signs are ominous for Inter, and this could well be the beginning of a long-running legal saga with possible ramifications.

“I will of course do it [report them to FIFA], with Inter Milan especially,” blasted Wenger. “Because of what they did.

“I now know more about what happened over there [in Milan]. I will keep the information for those who need to know it.

“I don’t want to speak much more on that but it is unfair what happened.”

Seedorf delivers a classic piece of propaganda.

Clarence sees 'ugly’ Inter
Friday 2 May, 2008

Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf believes that the difference between the Diavolo and Inter is a clinical attitude. “They don’t always excite.”

The build-up to Sunday’s all-important Derby della Madonnina is gathering intensity with comments from players on both sides.

Seedorf, who played for Inter between 2000 and 2002, is the latest star to have his say and the Dutch international’s views could antagonise the Nerazzurri.

“It’s true that there hasn’t been such an important and charged derby for a long time,” he began.

“I think that as teams we have two different ways of getting the victory.

“Inter maybe have superior individual talents that allow them to get leads and close games more easily – you could call it cynical football. But they don’t always play the same quality of football that we do.

“They are referring to this as a third Scudetto? They say that you either have class or you don’t. I think that you should try and avoid using words that could offend others.”

Milan are chasing Fiorentina for fourth place and will be hoping that yesterday’s cruel UEFA Cup semi-final defeat will upset the Viola’s rhythm.

“You can’t tell what reaction an event like that will do to a side, especially for a team who deserved to be in the Final so much,” Seedorf explained.

“But we have to think about ourselves. We have achieved two objectives and another one is still possible – we have to try and reach it.”

One of the major talking points of the last few months around San Siro has been the possible arrival of Barcelona ace Ronaldinho.

“I don’t think that the Brazilian is a priority, but just one of several,” Seedorf explained.

“I would be happy if he arrived and I think that Carlo Ancelotti would find a formation that would suit him, but other players are needed.

“Would my position be under threat? I just try and put myself in the Coach’s plans, but I know that to have three strikers like Ronaldo, Alexandre Pato and Alberto Gilardino on the bench is ridiculous.

“However, I think that the understanding between myself and Kaka over the last two seasons has been important.”

“They don’t always excite”? Last time I saw Milan against Arsenal it was about as exciting as watching static on tv. Popular political tactic, talking trash about someone as if that somehow proves you don't suffer from the same flaws.
