dude has a lot of talent, but he's the kind of player i'd rather watch playing at another team (not one of our rivals). he is a good player but i don't want him bringing his bitch attitude here and start pissing off the other players. imagine what ale will do to him if palladino got it rough.

Man, screw Cassano, seriously... He'll come, have a couple good games and then his attitude will kick in, he's like 10 times worse than Camo.

Roma To Sell With Debts Of €370m

The Sensi family are being forced to sell Roma with the club crippled by debts of €370m, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

Roma President Franco Sensi took over the club in 1993 from Ciro Di Martino, but after 15 years at the club it seems that his time is coming to a tragic end.

There had been strong reports in the English and Italian press a few months ago that Roma were set to be taken over.

Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks, who has an estimated wealth over $1 billion, was the main name linked with a bid.

However Sensi’s daughter Rosella, who is also the administrative delegate of the Giallorossi, blasted the rumours and declared that the club would always stay in the hands of the Sensi family.

“Roma is ours, nobody can touch it,” she said.

“The club will remain with the Sensi family. There will be trouble for anyone who tries to touch it. My father is still alive and continues to play an active role within the club.”

It hadn’t been known just how much financial trouble the Sensi family and Roma were in, but the Gazzetta today claims that they have debts of €370m.

Thus it seems that the Sensi’s will have no other option but to sell the club, with there being a serious possibility that the club could fall into foreign ownership.

The American sports marketing veteran Jeff Slack, who used to be in charge of all the business affairs of Inter Milan, is being tipped to present a bid that will be impossible to refuse within the next few months.

Gattuso Out for 2 months .

Milan, brutto infortunio per Gattuso

Sembra che Rino Gattuso dovrà stare fermo per un po'. Il mediano rossonero si è infatti procurto uno stiramento che lo terrà lontano dai campi per circa 50 giorni.

Gattuso's form was awful anyway. He wasn't the same as the WC 2006 or CL 06/07 Gattuso.

I still think this isn't some huge blow for Milan in serie A.
But it might turn out to be decisive in ChL. He's expected to be back for the 1/4 finals but in order to play there Milan will have to pass Arsenal and Gattuso was supposed to be Milan's main or one of the most important players in these clashes against Arsenal. Ancelotti would have packed up the midfield with Gattuso playing the main role in stopping Fabregas, Hleb and Rosicky.
It will be much harder for Milan to survive Emirates without Gattuso.

Indeed.

We already know first hand how effective Emerson was at stopping Arsenal. It's a big blow for CL, but may actually help them in Serie A.

A three man midfield of Seedorf, Pirlo and Ambrosini with Kaka playing off two strikers will suit them more than their usual 4-5-1 in Serie A.

Ya, he was surely going to give Cesc a hard time..he hasnt been in good form this season, but you just know he'll step up in the big games. Plus Cesc generally has difficulties with these kind of players..Essien has been successful more than once in neutralizing him.

Gattuso out for three weeks

Gennaro Gattuso’s thigh strain will only keep him out for three weeks rather than the feared two months.

It had originally been reported the Milan midfielder would be out of action for at least 50 days after he limped off against Reggina on Wednesday evening.

Today the Rossoneri conducted further tests and announced that Gattuso could return in around three weeks.

He has suffered a strain to the femoral bicep in his right leg.

This means the World Cup winner will miss out on Sunday’s trip to Fiorentina, the first leg of the Champions League clash with Arsenal on February 20 and Italy’s friendly against Portugal.

There is also the real risk Gattuso will not be able to recover in time for the second leg against the Gunners on March 4 at San Siro.
