FC INTER, Chinese future for the club?

One of the most important and rich Chinese business man, Li ka-shing, would be interested on buying the Italian club and in order to do that it seems that he is ready to offer up 350 millions of euro to chairman Massimo Moratti. Since Fc Inter right now is the most popular Italian club in China, Li ka-shing would ease the Fc Inter transfermarket session with 150 millions of euro ready for engage new players. Now Moratti has to decide wether to keep in his hands the leadership of Inter refusing probably the best ever offer or give up to the Chinese business man. It will not an easy choice.

Udinese 2 - 0 Reggina

Di Natale 5, 62 (U)

Antonio Di Natale continued his incredible form for Udinese with two magnificent goals to defeat Reggina. He has now scored three goals in two Serie A games, plus the brace for Italy.

The Friulani were aiming to find some consistency after an opening three weeks that saw them hold Inter and beat Juventus away, yet lose 5-0 at home to Napoli. The Amaranto wanted their first victory, but had to do without the suspended Carlos Valdez. Nicola Amoruso recovered from a bout of flu to start.

Udinese got off to a sparkling start, as Gyan Asamoah and Antonio Di Natale were closed down in the opening minutes before the deadlock was broken just five minutes in.

Inler's pass set Asamoah running and he intelligently backheeled for Di Natale. The Italian international moved out wide and seemed ready to cross, but instead lobbed Campagnolo from the most improbable of angles for a fantastic goal.

Another fine move between Asamoah and Di Natale went to waste when Inler completely scuffed the ball.

Reggina were unlucky not to draw level on 21 minutes, as a Luca Vigiani cross found Amoruso's powerful header on to the crossbar from six yards.

Other than that, the first half was all Udinese, as Campagnolo smothered two weak Asamoah efforts in the space of 60 seconds and Gaetano D'Agostino's free kick went past everyone to skim the far post.

Asamoah spun round his marker on the edge of the area and Campagnolo was alert to rush out and close him down. Di Natale was on spectacular form and did a 'rabona' - crossing his legs over to flick the ball with his back foot - to spark a dangerous attacking move for Dossena.

Asamoah's header from ex-Reggina man Giandomenico Mesto's cross shaved the upright. After the restart the Amaranto completely revamped their front line and substitute Joelson wasted a couple of chances.

Udinese were more clinical and Di Natale once again proved decisive with another magnificent strike. A long D'Agostino ball over the top found his flick and volley, all with the right foot, across the face of goal into the far corner.

Reggina tried to get back into the running when Halfredsson unleashed a rocket from over 30 metres that thumped the crossbar.

Fabio Quagliarella's glancing header skimmed the upright and Asamoah hesitated too long on the counter-attack. Substitute Simone Pepe tested Campagnolo in the closing stages.

Udinese: Handanovic; Zapotocny, Coda, Zapata; Mesto, Inler, D'Agostino, Dossena; Quagliarella, Asamoah (Floro Flores 75), Di Natale (Pepe 84)

Reggina: Campagnolo; Lanzaro, Stadsgaard, Aronica, Modesto; Barreto (Tognozzi 73), Cascione, Halfredsson; Vigiani (Cozza 46), Amoruso, Tullberg (Joelson 46)

Inter star Rivas taken ill

Inter defender Nelson Rivas was taken ill during today’s training session and will not make the trip to Livorno.

The Colombian suffered the setback in training and recovered swiftly, but doctors have asked him to rest as a precautionary measure.

Rivas made his first appearance in a Nerazzurri jersey in the 1-0 Champions League defeat at Fenerbahce and impressed on this debut.

Along with Rivas, Patrick Vieira, Cristian Chivu and Marco Materazzi have stayed behind ahead of Sunday’s match.

Adriano has also been included in the squad for Livorno, but with so many other strikers at Roberto Mancini’s disposal, it remains to be seen whether he will play.
