Looks like if we get past Empoli, we are meeting Inter.
I really don't know if i want or don't want this because there are pros and cons

1. If we eliminate Inter we can brag, we can prove Inter are beatable and it can do wonders for our and their psychology. It will make us more confident while it may have the opposite effect on them.
--------------------
1. If they eliminate us they can brag
2. Our schedule will get a lot tougher. Coppa won't be the tournament where Ranieri can give chances to the benchers because it's Inter we'll be against. And since the Coppa quarterfinals will be played in January 23 and January 30, our schedule will look like this :
Serie A, January 20 , Juventus-Sampdoria
Coppa, January 23, Juventus-Inter
Serie A, January 27, Livorno-Juventus
Coppa, January 30, Inter-Juventus
Serie A, February 3, Juventus-Cagliari
We'll have to play 5 matches in 2 weeks. That's a match in less than 3 days and we simply mustn't lose points in serie A and i'm afraid we will if we play our best team with Inter. ( the same will happen to Inter, but they have a lot of squad depth and they can afford playing a match in 3 days)

Really tough choice to make here

1. we get to beat inter
2. they can win one less trophy
3. the look on their faces
4. Juventus > Inter
5. We hate them

I want inter as soon as possible.

1. I want to see us trash them
2. It's better to draw them early because as you see our schedule isn't that tough early.
3. If we do lose I'd rather it be early so we can focus on serie a (but that won't happen).
4. I fucking hate inter and every fucking player on their team.

Milan-Catania 0:2 at half time

Milan's second team must be the worst one in Italy. There is a huge gap between their first and second team and that's the main reason why they're falling 20 points behind Inter in December already for 2 seasons in a row.

I hope it will be a humiliation in the second half and 0:5 win for Catania :D

Coppa: Fixtures drawn up
Friday 21 December, 2007

The January dates for the Coppa Italia have been announced and Serie B tie Ascoli-Brescia is rescheduled.

The first legs of the Fourth Round were played this week, but the dates of the second legs had not yet been finalised.

It is now confirmed that Juventus will open the round by trying to overturn their 2-1 deficit to Empoli on Tuesday January 15.

On the Wednesday Fiorentina-Ascoli kicks off at 17.00 UK time, while Catania-Milan, Sampdoria-Cagliari and Roma-Torino are evening starts.

Palermo-Udinese is at 14.00 UK time on Thursday January 17, while later that night Inter-Reggina and Napoli-Lazio complete the round.

Meanwhile, the Lega Calcio has also confirmed that Serie B Week 18 game Ascoli-Brescia will now be played on February 26, kick-off at 19.30.

The match was originally called off on December 15 as the Stadio Del Duca was under a snowstorm.

I want Catania to kick the shit out of Milan. But of course Milan are gonna get lucky as always and everything that can go wrong will go wrong for Catania.

What a goal by Vargas, it was totally awesome. A cross from the corner and a volley from the outside of the box by Vargas.

Mancio Jr to get Inter debut Wednesday 16 January, 2008

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roberto Mancini’s son Filippo is among the Inter players called up for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia tie with Reggina.

The Coach’s teenage son, who was born in 1990 and is a midfielder, received his first official call-up for the senior squad.

It is likely he will only be on the bench alongside his father or watch from the stands of San Siro, although they can afford to relax after winning the first leg 4-1 away from home.

“It is an unusual feeling, but that’s only to be expected,” said the proud Dad. “If I have to ask him to warm up, I’ll call him Filippo rather than Mancini. It’d be weird otherwise!”

January signing Nuno Maniche is not in the side, as his international transfer has not yet come through, but if it does come in before the game then it is possible the former Atletico Madrid man could be given his debut.

“In a match like this, we must always look for extra motivation considering the big win in the first leg. It can be difficult, but it remains an official encounter and we have the opportunity to see some players who haven’t had much space so far,” continued Mancini.

“We have called some youngsters and will start with a fairly regular XI, then see about introducing younger figures during the game.

“We’ll have to wait and see if Maniche’s transfer comes through. If it does, the Portuguese midfielder will play. If not then either Francesco Bolzoni or Luca Siligardi will start.”

Inter squad: Orlandoni, Alfonso; Burdisso, Rivas, Fatic, Filippini; Stankovic, Solari, Pelè, Cesar, Bolzoni, Puccio, Filkor, Pedrelli, Siligardi; F Mancini, Crespo, Balotelli, Napoli.

Imagine he scored against us

wouldn't that be conflict of interest or something if he played?
