For those who are a comedy guy, i extremely recommend IT Crowds. Don't know if its still broadcasting in UK but you can afford the DVDs.

IT Crowds is the story of three idiot IT administrator working at the basement of a big company. To me it was a laugh-to-die program. I bet you enjoy it.
I've only seen a bit of it, but the writing and acting pedigree is excellent. The writer, Graham Linehan, worked on Father Ted, Black Books and The Fast Show, among others. I had the pleasure of meeting him last year. He's currently working on a US version of The IT Crowd, I think.

The actors include Richard Ayoade, who wrote/directed/acted/produced in Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, one of my favourite TV comedies in a long time. He's also had a recurring role in The Mighty Boosh, which has a cult following in the UK, and Chris Morris also appears.

IT Crowd is pretty decent. As usual, and as with Father Ted, it's very deceptive in that you think the reason they made the theme that particular way means it's going to be about that topic. Father Ted wasn't about church or religion more than 10% of the time. IT Crowds isn't about tech support at all. Still, it's quite funny at times. Does anyone remember that commercial for the new emergency numbers? This comes on when Moss is watching tv one time. They change it from 999 to like a 16 digit number. I literally had tears in my eyes. :D

I don't think there's a funnier character in television than Bernard Black :howler: What a guy.

So I watched like the first two episodes and I'm having a hard time understanding the accent and the lingo. IT Crowd and Black Book I can understand perfectly but the Phoenix Nights lingo is a bit over my head.
