I dont know about the specific kid. Maybe he just threw stones as a sign of protest, but from what was reported some of those imprisoned kids did a lot worse than throwing stones.

As someone living in Israel I heard many other things than Hamas treating their hostages well.
A kid has just arrived at Gaza and immediately received a beating despite only being a kid.
People talked about having half a slice of bread for a whole day.

You do know they only shoot what they want to shoot and they dont give you the whole story.
Its not as my country doesnt do it themselves as well but the proportion of disinformation is massive on their end. Its also why their PR is way better (and the fact that many people dont like Jews)

P.S I read the letter and it seems like they actually wrote it and not a fake. What made her write this letter though... We will never know although I do have a few ideas.
I heard of so many opposite things - things that even got a video - Heads being removed, Women raped and murdered. I know there is a site someone created to show Hamas`s doing. I admit to not watching these movies as I think they will cause me trauma but I know from others who did watch it - The pictures are horrifiying.
Israel do have a corrupt government but this doesnt make Hamas the good guys and a video of them specifying otherwise is obviously a way to manipulate their image.
P.S I heard from an Arab friend that people go to Gaza without their true earnings because Hamas are taking their money. So even for their own people Hamas are terrorists.
Dont try to humanize them because nothing will humanize them after what they did.

The way you guys twist things.. Could it be taxation you are talking about? You know, they are the government there, ruling over a pile of rubble and money does not grow in tree. And it is not like biggest franchises in the world are paying tribute to them, unlike Israel.
About the letter part, it is way more likely that they have been demanded to tell that by your guys. They are perfectly aware of that hannibal directive might get them next.
