These "serious consequences" would hopefully mean a lot to the Palestinians. I'm looking forward to seeing a day when this is not only shitty governments like Iran (who are having problems with the whole world except for Omar Bashir and Mugabe) supporting Palestinians. Israel becoming more and more secluded, more people all over the world becoming disapproved of what Israel is doing in Gaza is what Palestinians need instead of calling for more wars waiting for a miracle to happen and "the day to come".
wait thats actually too smart for this thread, and is bianconero ok with you using his sig?

The Swedish novelist Henning Mankell has just arrived to his country after being deported by Israel and the Swedish parliamentary Mehmet Kaplan arrived home too.

Yep, interesting to hear what they say about this.

FYI, Carl Bildt, our foreign minister, very subtle and guarded guy, I never heard him be this firm and critical about something as of yet, been pretty adamant about how unaccepable this is (and his govt/party is Israeli friendly). So yeah, there is clear change of attitude for sure.

I really want actions and not only words. It's time for everyone to move. That's no more acceptable, one puts this on himself and wonders how it feels to have a brother or relatives on that ship or to be there himself.

What would have happened had Turkey done that to an Israeli ship? A guaranteed war for sure.

In Lebanon 2006 july war started because we kidnapped two Israeli soldiers to trade them for another 3Lebanese prisoners in Israel and the result was a 33 days war on Lebanon, bombing Lebanon day and night. Over 2000 Lebanese victims died.

Today Israeli's attack a Turkish ship going to Gazza, to a place where people are badly need of help and they're stabbed in the back at night.

I seriously wouldn't mind fighting them tonight before tomorrow. It's time to set those criminals back to God.

Bad idea. You don't want war when you don't know who's on your side. Your best bet is convincing the public and right now opinions are changing. Wait and see what happens.

And these are exactly words instead of useful actions.

We all want actions, Rab, but we need a group action because if one of us decides to react individually, this will be suicide. We need to aware people that peace is mirage and that we need to fight those Zionists because if we don't fight them now, we will see them killing our own families tomorrow.

Our destiny is the same. They see us as future targets. We should prepare ourselves for confronting them by all means possible.

How so? Let the middle east zone unite and let everyone volunteer and I'm in.

I'm a man who has suffered a lot from them. A man who has martyrs 1982 from Israeli's Beirut attack. A man who's house was destroyed in 2006.. My mother, my sister, my grandma's my relatives are in danger always so long no one can stop those criminals and specially if another war will take place like the 2006 one. So Trust me I would.

And seriously, people who have never lived a war shouldn't judge on someone like myself who was raised and born in a country with conflicts mostly against Israel.

We've been trying to convince the public for 60years now.

And opinions do change for a couple of days or week and then people tend to forget because their own hands aren't in the fire. They're safe so it's all good.

Children of Gaza did not find anyway to express their gratitude for people who took part in the attempt to break the siege. For all the martyrs, there was nothing but roses and tears...

I say go get them, Rab. The world is going to war again anyway and there is no stopping it, so might as well commence the process now. Israel will begin to be stretched thin if they try fighting on all the fronts they face.

People shouldn't take their shit anymore.

I know you would, never questioned that.

Sometimes losing your life over a cause changes something, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes losing your life over a cause doesn't change anything but at least it becomes a symbol of something, sometimes it doesn't.

Deaths of people who are going to lose their lives in a war you are calling for would not change anything. Deaths of those people, as harsh as it might seem to you and me, wouldn't even be a symbol of anything, they are only "numbers" being written down in history books.

You've been trying to convince the public for 60years now? Why haven't you been successful then? Do the people hate you or you simply have not been convincing enough?

If they strike Lebanon again and it happens that I'm there I wouldn't mind to volunteer myself. This is how far the situation has got to.

They're even threatening Lebanon daily. They're not ashamed of themselves.

Volunteering yourself doesn't mean you're going to die. You can defend your country in too many ways and there's a chance you don't die. But I feel it's my duty as a young man to defend my country because sometimes when it's too much it's just too much. And imagine this is coming from a non religious person who believes in nothing but himself. But I've had enough.

I believe losing your life over a cause doesn't change much too but I'm not the type of person who welcomes criminals and murders on a door without reacting. Each one is entitled to defend his own house.

You've been trying to convince the public for 60years now? Why haven't you been successful then? Do the people hate you or you simply have not been convincing enough?
So one needs to be convincing enough to convince the public world? Very lame thing to say. Are they not seeing what's going on? Are they not brainwashed by the media? Aren't the Israeli's controlling world's money and playing a monopoly game with people's head?

If you think by convincing people you can solve things then good luck. But Prophet Mohammad and Jesus combined couldn't convince the world then lets hope someone else does.
