Who is in favour of banning Turk from this thread? He causes aggravation for everyone here and brings nothing to the table.

Censorship again, ey Seven? First the pictures and now Turk? I thought you were the biggest opposer to censorship? What happened?

God. You've got to be kidding me. You're doing exactly what I said people would be doing after those fucking lies Andy put in my mouth. I never asked for the pictures to be censored. Not once.

Ow, and I thought you were going to compile my posts. I understand though, I wouldn't do it either, especially because it'll be bad for your cause.

Sign for what? You have got to be kidding me, are you familiar with the current Egyptian regime?
I'll explain.

People want to get supplies to Gaza, which happens to be surrounded by angry Israelis on all sides accept the Egyptian side and the side that borders the sea. Egypt deems it illegal to bring goods into Gaza from Egypt. Israel certainly won't allow relief into Gaza.

The protesters/activists/heroes decide to stick it to both parties by attempting something deemed illegal by both Israel and Egypt. An act of civil disobedience. And as we all know sometimes those acts are punished.

You say the "humanitarians" are not comparable to protesters. Yet, aside from the primary action of relieving Gaza, the activists (as they deem themselves) actions do exactly that.

That's my only point Fred. It's a simple one.

Anywho... I asked this yesterday, as I'm unable to read new for the majority of my day.

What is to happen to the remaining ships and goods?

Your saying that as if its some minor thing. These peoples crime was that they cared about the suffering of the innocent people of Gaza more than you and me. An act of civil disobedience you say? So were the protests calling for equality of rights for black people in the US in the past century, no?

I never said the delivering of goods to Gaza was a minor thing. In fact, I stated that the action of disobedience was secondary to the goal of delivering the aid.

Duuuuuuude, civil disobedience is a good thing. Protesting is a good thing. Being an activist is a good thing.

Rosa Parks is a hero as are those that tried to deliver aid to Gaza and still attempt to deliver aid.

But it is somewhat understandable that Israel may have felt threatened and hence attacking the convoy was somewhat understandable?
