Already read that.

Though I have heard fairly little of Jesus from Imams as a kid, in this question I remember hearing fairly conflictive intepretetations due to semantics (taken a theological class while back, and its interesting how much is taken so many directions in the Quran because its so hard to intepret the prose and chose of words), some said it meant he died and was aschended to heaven. Others mostly said the cruxifiction never happend, and he was raised while alive etc.

Not something I heard mentionned much except few times in Quran school as a kid, but overall not overly important becaue what matters is how he lived and what he preached, not the details of his passing.

Either way, pointless to go on about this, bit still weird to point that out, like he has nothing else to say.

Nothing new as it seems. It always turns into religious thread and specifically about Islam.
True that.

I think this thread has lost its purpose... At least for the moment... In the past few pages there's nothing about Gaza except a few words here and there... Its either Holocaust or Judaism/Islam bashing, depending on the poster... Maybe this should just be closed and opened when Rebel or someone else has something solid to add... the other discussions have their dedicated thread and can be continued there...

The laws of Sheria. Just like every nation has a law, then an Islamic nation should have one no?
I am still waiting the answer of this question. Are there specific rules to make a state Islamic, or you just read the Quraan and put the law the way you conclude by reading Quraan?

Why you didn't write that in English? in short you didn't find the Sheria's law, and you told me in Arabic that it's not only the Quraan, but also Sheikhs, intellects that write the laws of Sheria??

So you guys are all praising the ideal Islamic nation all the time and you don't even know the laws, or there aren't even specific/official laws? I am lost now

Why does every thread turn into a discussion about Islam, especially this one?

Unfortunately, the last five pages had nothing to do with the purpose of the thread. I thought of keeping this thread to make some regular updates and discussions about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict especially that the siege on Gaza was not lifted yet, but it seems that won't be possible seeing all these religious debates going on.

Why is that a big problem? When you update us about Palestine, everyone is reading and replying. But there aren't much news now like the past weeks, so it's okay if it is going off topic (It is related thou somehow, it's not like we are discussing about Del Piero's goals). Or is it the religion discussion specifically that annoying you? Cause this is not the first time Muslims are getting annoyed of religion discussion, it's not that everyone is insulting your religion, it's a clean discussion in the end, and all of the topics are related, just to understand the whole problems..

Snoop, I know your objective of asking is to be more knowledgeable about the religion, but my point was that religion debates has a separate sub-forum. I know you don't want to attack Islam, but believe me some people really have been doing that in this thread since it was opened. I don't really care about them, but that just takes the attention from the purpose of the thread and makes some people who want to know more about the Middle East conflict and want to discuss it, become disgusted by the ongoing religious fights here.

I wrote in arabic because its much easier for me as u all know that my English is terrible , not something to be shamefull of though

You wanted to know the Arbitrators of Islamic Law and i gave you one site
Then you said that you can't read the whole thread
and thats why i told u that i couldn't find u a page summerizing that issue in few lines

Arbitrators of Islamic Law is based on Holy Quran and Sunah shareefah
and its quite complicated and very sensitive process to get that rules from the texts of both "Quran and Sunah" and thats why i told you its not Quraan only
and only specialists "shikhs and intellects as u said" are allowed to do so, not me or any one else, only them

    One more time
There is an islamic law and its very clear and very very striaght forward for all the Muslims

True. Though what I meant is that I feel better (minded) now that I did something that hopefully it'll help a bit.
True, same here in overall, kudos to the mosque to arrange this (SEVERAL non muslims came to donate there, which I found cool).

But in overall constantly reminded how horrible this is, not because you know if it through the news alone, but that a good friend of mine pretty much lost almost a whole family of his cousins there, feels shitty just thinking about how he feels like.

Let's the discussion go man, it shouldn't bother you. I understand you, your emotions are high to the top, I know that, but try to be more relaxed here, there is a good discussion going on, and in the end they are all related. I think the purpose of the thread is still the same, and everyone is ware of it.

Yes! That's what I am asking. what are those very clear laws? any link?? I am not asking you if you know an Islamic site, or to show me the Quraan. I want to know those rules/laws to give my judgment if Islamic nation is as great as you guys claim..

True, same here in overall, kudos to the mosque to arrange this (SEVERAL non muslims came to donate there, which I found cool).
I don't trust these mosques and churches, because I can't make sure where and how much of the money will go. UNICEF seems trusty thou, and there is another one, I think it is part of UNICEF (saw the ad on Jazeera, where Jordan's queen took part in).

on a side note, I was raised as a Christian, and I value how the bible teaches to do these donations in private, I don't like it when people talk about it, cause that just sounds like a show off "I am a good person, I help etc..".

thanx. I know what you are talking, I am more relaxed now maybe that's why, I left the forum for a period because my temper was high, there were reasons for that then.
