like I said, a differing opinion. I read that in the Buffalo News today

it's fine to have a different opinion, but he s just an israel mouthpiece who pretends to be american. this line though "getting the majority to accept their authority." is actually, though referring to hamas in the article, the exact reason for this war, after the lebanon debacle(and yes Israel lost that war effectively by failing to accomplish any of their stated goals) they needed to remind the region of their military might, picking on the easiest and closest target.

Yes, very sly by the IDF. They are so so so so nice people they warn citizens to move to places such as a UN school before they bomb them.

Oh wait, they bombed the school anyway.

Nice post, Vinni!
Ironic isn't it? They did the same in Lebanon 2006. Thru SMS, Leaflets, phone calls - warning Lebanese citizens in the south to evacuate. Some of them did, and while they evacuated? They got bombed.

How considerate of them.

Exactly. They just wanted to say to anybody in the future that raise his voice against bombing UNRWA that "he is anti-Semitic and supports Hamas".
Anti-Semitic
This is another issue

You are free and most welcome to do whatever you want in the western world
and that's why they call themselves a free world which i concur
But when it comes to Anti-Semitic and the Holocaust !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What I find particularly odd is how people can accuse Israel of genocide (which this is obviously not), yet find it acceptable to use racist comments towards Jews. Very strange indeed.

Vinny, it's a sensitive issue for many of our members so you should be prepared for some hostility if you intend to say something that they're all convinced isn't true.

But yeah, since you're not offending anyone (on purpose) and you don't use foul language, you have all the right to state your opinion.
it isn't about being convinced it is true, it is all false, plain and simple!!! time and time and time again, the Israeli standpoint of only targetting Hamas has proved to be all LIES...so defending their actions in the Gaza incursion is not acceptable
