I don’t know, I didn’t knew both cases. Both are very inappropriate, but celebrating 9/11 with full streets on the other side of the world and calling it a sweet from Osama quite surprised me.
I guess I just find it more shocking that our supposed “friends” would have folks celebrating attacks against us and were suspicious enough to get arrested because of it.

You call those full streets? Please know your facts. A few individuals at the Damascus Gate do not represent the beliefs and attitudes of an entire population or nation.

Sure, Israeli intelligence sent 5 of their top spy's to blow up the towers and they caught by clapping and cheering in public.
You've been alluding to some pretty idiotic conspiracies here but this is a bit much even for you no? Do you hear yourself?

All of it was reported. I never said “they did it”. Why were your buddies cheering it on?

Hows the situation on the ground
Much calmer, our side is stabilised and cleared. Haven't been any engagements on our side since wendsday.
Still getting shelled sporadically but nothing too bothersome.

My unit have 2 days of rest now in one of the settlements that got hit hard and then we will go back down to the fence. I don't expect the next week to be very hot, calm before the storm situation.

Few people died in the North from hizzbulla rocket attackes so I hope there won't be a second front too soon.

I expect to be drafted for a few months, this will not be quickly over.

It's not about who or what caused what. There is no moral victory in any of this.

Palestinians and Gazans in particular are not children, their choices and actions led us here, just as ours did.
I'm not angry or seeking revenge, I'm just sad cause I'm resigned to the idea that this is the point of no return for both our people.

I've seen the atrocities with my own eyes, there is no propaganda here, just fog of war, people can't picture the level of chaos here.
Seeing what I saw I realised that they are too far gone, whoever fault you assign it to.
.
I know I'm biased and conditioned, brainwashed even but so are they. And some of you. There is no coming back from this once all the survivor stories are out and when/if more picture will leak the Israeli public will have zero sympathy left if they have any. We will leave the academic debate to outsiders.
Arabs have 20+ independent states. Palestinians can fuck right off to one of them. Forza Israel!

This is why israel gets so much hate. It's really amazing the hold they have on western politicians, and really all kinds of institutions in the west.
She's an idiot who craves attention and not part of the governing party in the UK.

People these days put far too much emphasis on what individuals are saying as though it is the view of that country as a whole.

I'd never heard of her. I just know that someone should cut her food off.

None of that negates what i said.
I didn't say that it does.

I just have noticed a trend (not specifically on this conflict) that people seem determined to pick out a clip of random people and act like it represents a majority view in all sorts of situations.

With regards to the clip of that politician, it looks like one fumbling around and trying their hardest to sit on the fence with a general election next year in mind rather than anything deeper than that.
