if it was the palestinian people who conducted the holocaust, that would be different, the holocaust has nothing to do with the killings that are going on now, palestinians did not cause the holocaust, nor should they suffer as a result of it having happned, if jews want to go and piss on hitlers grave so be it, but you can't use the holocaust for any justification for israels actions

i want to ask him whats up with his fascination with jews, his facebook status' are going on about hamas rockets all the time yet how many israeli deaths have there been? forget religeon, this is just about a group of people killing another group of people and it's just not right, there can be no justifications for these deaths especially the children
The problem is there are millions of people who think the same way as he does, that two wrongs make a right. If he wants to be Jewish, fine, but don't use past atrocities to justify what you happen to "feel", or what you believe is "right", as that just leads to more problems.
Of course the two of you are right, but it is part of why I'm posting in this very thread. You see, even if what Israel is doing today is wrong, it is not quite right to allow or cultivate hate towards Jews, no matter how small the amount of hate might be. It is why I'm wary of the word "conspiracy", Andy. It looks as if it's something that could be used to justify jew hate, do you get what I mean?

It sounds weird, but I'm always sadder when I see the disfigurements, the mental and physical handicaps war causes than when I see dead people. I think it has got something to do with a girl that lives right next door. She is exactly my age and her mom got the news she was pregnant, two weeks after my mom had got the news about me. When I was born I turned out alright, but the girl was severely handicapped. She cannot speak or move and it's not clear whether she has even the faintest idea of where she is. I get sick just thinking about it.

Again, I don't have a problem with Jews. What I have a problem with is Zionism. But there is nothing wrong with stating facts, such as saying Jews control a lot of facets of our economy and media. Not saying it's all bad, but things are skewed in their favor, which is to be expected. Having AIPAC as a major player in politics over here is a fact, one that I feel is detrimental to the United States. I'm not going to sugar coat it and let wannabe Israelis such as Rahm Emanuel act as faux patriots over here and not do what's in the best interest of our country.

If these facts are too offensive for some people, too bad.

So they bombed a UN supply building, and the fire has now made it's way to a UN fuel depot. Great sortie that was, Israel!

How the UN puts up with this stuff is partly why I can't respect that organization.

were u expecting an asnwer or just making a point? :p
Making a point.

None. But that doesn't matter because they're making no fucking impact anyway.

It's bullshit.
If you're going to keep on saying it's a bullshit organisation with no impact whatsoever, then why are you even bitching about the war? I mean, it's obvious we can't do anything about it then, right?

None Andries... but they don't have any impact either... so they might as well disband... Today Israel and the US have the power to disobey the UN and bomb who ever they please... Tomorrow maybe India will say fuck the UN and bomb Pakistan or vice versa... thats gonna be dirty... at the moment every country might be itchin to attack its neighbour or its foes... but they aren't able to do so because they don't have the power to disobey UN, yet...
Its like having an elder brother who always disobeys your parents and gets away with it... its inevitable that one day you'll also start disobeying your parents and they can't do anything about it...
If the UN goes on like this, then its inevitable that they'll have to shut shop, just like the league of nations...

Because I'm tired of seeing innocent people getting killed over this nonsense. Is that a good enough reason for you?

Or do you have blind faith in a bunch of politicians to come to an agreement while they bomb their own UN buildings in the region?

The UN should declare their own fatwah against Israel because they're being attacked as well. That's exactly what they should do, they should declare a fatwah against Israel, send in troops around the Israeli borders and defend their establishments in the region. This is insanity, total lunacy, that they can target UN buildings and UN officials have to be so diplomatic with Israel. They're being attacked as well for Christ's sake.

The larger nations have incentive to break UN agreements and provisions, as nothing is going to be done about it anyway.

A fatwah?

Something will happen soon. Israel is taking this too far.

Well, there are 5 nations the UN simply can't punish. So that's a weakness there, I agree. But otherwise those nations wouldn't even be part of the UN. You're forgetting the bigger picture here. A more active and faster UN would only create more war worldwide and it would soon enough all fall part.
