My parents are Catholic, and I don't believe they are evil or responsible for the deaths of millions.

However, there is a chance that my dad created the AIDS virus in his lab, according to some guy from Russia. So you never know. :scarf:

So what? All governments claim to represent what's best for you. Whatever labels they want to use.

Apply the same logic to both sides. Both would be hypocrites, both responsible for "the death of millions" as Ja5per put it.

I'm talking about the Catholic Church btw, not all religions.
Right, because the Catholic church is western, just like the evil western governments. That's how you can tell.

Needless to say, your non-western governments and your non-western religions are not flawed like ours.

Our non western governments are much worse than yours, they pale in comparison actually.

Plus, i did not mean that the catholic church was western and hence evil, how did you even conclude that?

eye know that western democracies are, but western democracies dont rape children, tell famine struck peoples to have children and spread aids, force ignorant beliefs, forbid the right to express your sexuality etc. etc. The catholics are wrong and they are responsible for those deaths, Pope Benedict has the blood on his hands.
