this is a hard one, i do like family guy better coz its so random and you dont expect half the shit that happens, but the stuff homer says sometimes and does cracks me up to. its a hard one

i have been a huge simpsons fan for many years, in fact i was watching it when it first hit the screens here and was hooked from the start. funny thing saying that family guy is a rip-off of the simpsons as teh simpsons was a rip-off and mash-up if almost every "family-orientated-soap" taht was on american television. taht was what made it so succesful, the quality has diminished in recent years but that is to be expected...still though it is top quality

family guy on teh other hand is quite anarchic in its humour and tbh, i LOVE IT i absolutely love the chaos of family guy,the skits taht go off on a tangent sometimes are comedy gold. it certainly is not as structured as teh simpson and peter is a lot less likeable than homer but it is a great show in its own right

Family Guy is better, without a doubt. The Simpsons were great, but they have lost their appeal.....that happened a long time ago too.

i love the cut-scene skits the most, the one where peter says "this is even wosre then getting a telegram from zinedine zidane" was pure genius

i really liked the first 3 seasons of Family Guy but the new ones IMO are terrible. They all rely on the same style of joke e.g. "Did you say golf?that reminds me of the time that i went on holiday with Margaret Thatcher" or something like that.

In the first few series there were still great irrelevant jokes but they weren't all structured the same way.

I think family guy has been ruined for me by an episode of South Park called cartoon wars. Check it out on www.allsp.com and you will understand what i mean.

IMO South Park is by far the best cartoon.

i have seen 4-5 south park episodes that have been absolutely the best thing on television but never really caught up to watch it regularly
