Nah, I don't think Dp's position in this match Depends on Totti, If Totti was OK, Lippi would go this way...

------------------Gila------------

----------Dp-----------Totti

So I wonder whos going to be taking Totti's position..

--------------Gila---------------
--Dp----------???-------------Camo or Diana--

or is it going to be a 4-3-2-1...

they should have gotten pazzini in.. :frown:
he needs experience with international football

Robbie Keane's out of the Ireland squad. Ankle injury. Doubts on Dunne, Cunningham and Kavanagh, IIRC.

Trident for Italy? doesnt really work...
I reckon Del Piero should play as 2nd striker with Gila as 2nd striker..but i am quite impressed with Toni and Iaquinta...so, seems this is a friendly, we should give those two a chance in the 2nd half..i am more concern on Italia's midfield as u know...Italy seriously lack of creative midfielders...we only got 1 PIRLO..that's proven internationally...
England looks very strong on the cards at the moments..
    J.Cole, Gerrard, Lampard, Wright-Philips, Beckham(i think he's d weakest link!!)
so is Brazil...with Kaka, Ronaldiho, Juninho, Batispta
Italy seriously needs a few more talented, creative midfields....

Having lost Buffon, Camoranesi and Totti, Lippi's only bringing in Palermo's keeper, Guardalben. I'm going to be awaiting the Italian line-up with interest now.

Nially Quinn is retired, McAteer is retired from international football at least (he may still be playing in a lower league) and Ian Harte (currently based in Spain) has fallen behind Man Utd's John O'Shea in the pecking order for left back because he's rubbish.

To be honest, I rate neither as a left back any more, which is a pity because O'Shea looked like an amazing prospect in his first season, while Harte is just sublime with a dead ball.
