Erdogan just announced that 1450 fighters will enter from Turkey to help Kurd fighters in Ain Al-Arab (Kobane). 1300 of them are Arabs from the Free Syrian Army, and only 150 are from Peshmerga fighters who came from Iraq...

Too weird to see the Free Syrian Army losing regions in front of Assad forces, and instead of fighting that regime, they prefer to fight IS. The only reason for this is that they are scared for their salaries that are coming from Saudi Arabia and its allies...

Now,Kurds in Kobane deny they allowed Free Syrian Army to join them in their fight against IS. What a humiliating for FSA:)

The Turkish prime minister just had a speech tonight saying in it that "Syrian refugees are blessings on Turkey from God".

The way of treating the Syrian refugees in Turkey should be a model to be imitated all over the world

    Breaking News from Yemen:

During clashes between Houthi fighters (Shia) who came from the north to control the whole country, they were stopped by a group of the people of Radaa' area (Sunni) in the middle of Yemen. The clashes continued for days and the local people almost defeated those Houthis. But Americans have another opinion. Their drones just bombarded the first lines of local fighters, to make it easier for Houthis to keep progressing all over Yemen...

Don't think in terms of Shia vs Sunni...substitute them Green vs Blue respectively. The fact that one is Shia and the other Sunni is irrelevant in the big picture.
I'm not really sure, not really following the news from over there.
Ze, you have to follow news from there to say it is not about Sunnis and Shia. Until before three years, I never believed that sectarian differences may make somebody kill another person, but seeing it in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Bahrain, ..... makes it a truth that can not be ignored.

What is it for in Yemen then? Just more land and power?
Just as a simple background in Yemen, Shia used to rule Yemen for centuries under a royal type of monarchy although they are a minority. In the 1960s, people rebelled and chose to have a republic instead of that monarchy which was treating them as slaves for the Imam "The supreme leader". Sunnis became the leaders of the country for so long since then. Iran wanted to start playing its normal game there since around 10 years where it gave the Shia minority in the north weapons and military equipment to use them to control the largest area in Yemen in order to have its foot in the region. At the same time, normal people were fed up with the corruptive president, so they made a revolution in 2011. The countries in the region did not want the revolution to succeed in order not to be a model that can be imitated by their people. So, they supported the corruptive previous president who allied with Shia fighters in the north in order to make people regret the revolution they made against him.

    That is it simply.

If you buy that bullshit you must be brainwashed as well. But I guess that was kinda obvious...that you have resentment against Shia's, the way you talk about them and all. You're pretty condescending even when you're just reporting news.

Hate to break it to you but it's all about interest and "Sunnis"..."Shia's" are just pawns who're easily brainwashed.

As you wish. I just want to tell you I've been to Yemen many times, and know tens of Yemenis and discuss them regularly. How many Yemenis do you know? Have you been there ever?

Why do I have to know a Yemeni? In fact, knowing and speaking to these Yemeni's and concluding that it "really is sectarian" for them proves my point that people can be more easily recruited if you tell them they're fighting for a higher cause.

Ok. You know more than Yemenis themselves about the conflict there. I rest my case.

Of course. They have the right to rule the country.

I never said that Sunnis are angels. The mere point I say is that they should be given the right to rule the country wherever they are the majority. Isn't this the democracy?

A 26-year-old girl was just executed after 8 years of the decision by a court to execute her. Her guilt is killing an intelligence official when he tried to rape her.

Of course, regardless that she is Sunni while that intelligence creature was a shia.
