as real as they get for i look at the subject at hand and dont get lost in the pictures or stories about freedoms and rights it is obvious that the iranian society is structured very differently legally than others to say the least but that is no reason to not be democratic

for the first 3 questions; every government in every nation whether to survive or to uphold a higher principle will act in a way it sees fit for the majority of its people to insure law and order. as for the election maneuvering show me one party anywhere in the world that plays by the rules; politics is one dirty game.

for the last one; once again its not the subject at hand whether they re fanatics or founding fathers bring us your evidence of serious tampering instead of the imbroglio of disenchanted youth and freedom fighters.
Anyone with half a brain knows it's statistically impossible to have the exact same percentage difference in every city in a single election. This wasn't election results, it was a cartoon.

And please give me proof not opinion.

Today something funny happened ! Iranian local media showed some pictures and videos of Re-counting of the votes as they are saying they have no fear to recount the votes in front of media.

But just look, all the votes are look like new ! U should fold votes to be able to put them in the vote-box (or whatever its called) but does this votes look like the have been folded before ?

But thats not all, even someone who dont undrestand persian (or arabic) font can tell that all of these votes have been written with the same handwriting :

But they aren't stupid. If they wanted to make it look real they could have done it. This way it looks like they're taking the piss.
I dont really know, but they didnt meant to go into details, there are many pics that published about recounting but people took these few and ask those questions.

On of the candidate's agent,Rezayi, also mentioned that 70% of votes that i saw in recounting had same handwriting.

Actually it didnt stop completely,Still there are protest of 5000-6000 people, like yesterday there were a bigger one,but the main reason is basij ! when they are thousands of basiji poeple in every square they dont even let people gather.

Other reason could be Blocking SMS and social sites so people can not be organized.Instant messengers were so powerful for mass messaging and informing large number of people about a gathering place after SMS was blocked, but its been a week that we dont have them too.so all in all...people can not get organized and when they went out to streets usually basij wont let them gather by attacking them before that.

Another thing could be,here young people usually live with their parents (buying and renting house are not easy becuz af very high prices).and most of the protesters are young people.after they killed 20 on that day, parent dont let their boys and girls leave the for protest anymore.its a key factor that fear stop families to let their sons and doughters risk their life.and government knows that.

Not only rumours ,poeple tried to do that, some did and suggested to others, but it didnt become common among all.like the Oil industry strike was a suggestion to oil workers but didnt happen.and i dont think it will happen.people are not in that place yet.

u know...we had a revolution 30 years ago,and after that a long 8 years war against Saddam.thats not that long ago really.most middle age people and olders dont like to go through all that again after they finally found their feet on the ground and made a life for themselves.

Upcoming days are very critical for iran gov. 9 of july is the Anniversary of 18 Tir (9th july) the last protest in iran against the government.in the july 1999 there were a big protest against the regime which finished by the help of basij, they attacked university of tehran and killed, hit and injured many students.also many of them arrested and many had to escape from iran after that.they attacked protesters in streets and hit them

On those days,Khatami didnt support protesters and after some days they stop their fight, but now mousavi still couraging people to continue and not to lose their hope, poeple still have a leader.mousavi yesterday said base on َArticle 27 of Constitution of Iran (peaceful gathering and protests without guns, which are not against islam are allowed.) we have the right to do so.

But...18 Tir always praised by people as the only protest and movement against the regime.and now has the potential to be a huge protest, but for sure they are preparing for a huge repress too ! they said on TV that since today that guardian council said the election was healthy, everyone we detain will not be released anymore !

On the others side, everywhere people are trying to spread 18 Tir's protest locations in every city for a massive protest in that day.but still no one knows what will happen !

On of the posters for the coming 18 Tir : http://i41.tinypic.com/ohag7.jpg
it says : stand up,its time to unite.

I am sure that the US and Israel would have had much to do with the turmoil which was raging through the streets of tehran and elsewhere in Iran. Who is to gain from instigating such nuisance???? And have they gained anything???

The only Iranians I know are not exactly ahmadinejad lovers, they are hardly haters, and do feel, that slowly but surely, the country is heading in the Right direction. but that may be easier for them to say, as they live in England, and have done for many years.
