I don't like the way you look at gambling because I do gamble myself and I think it is fun.
I gamble now and again, but it doesn't do much for me.

I really enjoy backing myself in a game of golf or pool or something, though.

Do you win?

It's not a lie, is it? Gambling wouldn't exist if not for the fact that the players almost always lose.
The casino/bookmaker trade wouldn't exist if they weren't making a lot of money from people placing losing bets.

Of course I win sometimes and when I do it feels great but if I have to add up a cumulative sum, I am definitely in the red zone.

Martin, I read Fools Die before I started gambling and yet I started. It's a good book, give it a try. And it is as you said, if it weren't a profitable thing for the casino, betting site, bookmaker gambling wouldn't have existed but there is a price for having fun if one doesn't over do it and my gambling amounts do not exceed 30 € per month.

In local bookie? I'll have to check odds in Mozzart.

Btw, LDU Quito just started the game against city rivals, Deportivo. LDU Quito already played one game last night, now they're playing with reserves, only GK remains the same.

Real needs 1 pt in the last two matches to secure the 1st place. Even if they lose tonight they'll get that needed point in Madrid vs Auxerre. That's what's making the odds high.

Ajax sucks these days, can't see them getting anything tonight.

Lass, Xabi, Ozil, Di Maria, Ronaldo, Benzema will play.

Well, according to Marca and AS, just checked them.

Make the bet just so you won't be sorry if you don't and Real wins. But don't overstake.
After all, as much as Ajax sucks it's easily imaginable Real to push in the first half, get one goal, maybe two, and then completely stop playing, knowing that the most Ajax can get is a draw, which is still more than good for Real.

P.S: Have in mind that Barca-Real play in the weekend.

I will bet on them, that's for sure. :)

Medium stake on AW or big stake on DNB 2, I'll decide later.

Still can't decide what to pick for Partizan - Shakhtar. Weather sucks, but I'm still expecting an open game from both sides. Clear away win or both teams to score? Damn, not sure!

Yep, stanleybet here.

Yeah, but there's no chance Mou will risk it and not play for anything other than a win.

Here's my crazy bet of the week. I was modest this time around:

Auxerre-Milan X-2 (half-full)
Roma-Bayern X-1 (half-full)
Braga-Arsenal(-1) 2
Ajax-Real(-1) 2

5,000 for 10. :D

Barca-Real isn't until Monday, so I wouldn't think they'll rest too many players for that yet.

Line-ups are announced. Di Maria out, Pedro Leon in, Ramos on CB.

Chelsea with few youngsters: McEchran, Kakuta, Sturridge, Bruma, Van Aanholt... but with Drogba upfront...

Nasri, Sagna and Chamakh are benched for Arsenal.
