    8-fold for a 3.4 odd???
    Yeah Snoop you're right. But this isn't one of my 'normal' bets. It's the start of my £10-£1,000 attempt. So it will be somewhere between 40-50 selections for 100 odds. From that point of view 3.40 odds for 8 selections is about right - actually slightly ahead.

    It sure is risky - but better to be the most risky with 1st round matches where there are 128 to choose from and I risk the least amount (£10).

    I'll have some normal bets for the rest of the tournament too accounted in the usual way. Nothing really stands out tomorrow.

    Blake(3-0)/T.Johansson: 5.00 @ 4.62 (Stan James)
    Ljubicic(3-0)/T.Johansson: 5.00 @ 4.62 (Stan James)
    Blake(3-0)/Ljubicic(3-0)/Johansson: 5.00 @ 10.16 (Stan James)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 44/38/3/4

    That trixie earlier this week failed. In very spectacular fashion as Blake and Ljubicic both won in straight sets but then Thomas Johansson proceeded to lose a 2-0 sets lead :oops:. It would have been a massive payout for such a small stake but now a tiny profit is all that shows.

    Blake(3-0)/Ljubicic(3-0): 5.00 @ 4.84 => 24.20 (Stan James)
    Blake(3-0)/T.Johansson: 5.00 @ 4.62 => 0.00 (Stan James)
    Ljubicic(3-0)/T.Johansson: 5.00 @ 4.62 => 0.00 (Stan James)
    Blake(3-0)/Ljubicic(3-0)/Johansson: 5.00 @ 10.16 => 0.00 (Stan James)

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    Bet Results(Won/Lost/Push/Pending): 45/41/3/0
    Current Bank: 235.20
    Banked Profit: 0.00

    Bet365: 45.00

    Haven't had a serious bet for a couple of weeks and life is probably more enjoyable which is perhaps strange. I wonder how long it may continue? I'm seriously thinking of JUST WATCHING the World Cup. Yeah...NO bets.

    Maybe it will change in a few days.

    I should be doing well since I bet pretty seriously in real life. :D

    As for betandwin - has it really been nearly a month since you requested a withdrawal? 1K is a pretty big amount to be without. Most cash transfers can take around 10 days but it's usually stated how long in the bookmakers rules. They are big in Europe and a lot of people use them so I'm sure they're OK but I've read this type of bad service before with betandwin.

    *COUGH* You've still got about a week to sign up with Gamebookers and get a World Cup shirt of your choice if you want to go somewhere better. :p

    Gamebookers sign-up promotion?

    The details are here:
    http://content.gamebookers.com/en/tspromo.html

    So you will need to bet €45 on the World Cup Winner and Brazil are down to 3.00 now with them. Funnily enough they make England second favourites :disagree:. I'd still go for Brazil though as you have the best chance then of getting your money back plus €90 profit and the free shirt of the team of your choice. Or are you going to be patriotic/romantic and go for a long-shot?

    Sounds very strange from betandwin.

    Gamebookers do have the Western Union payment option. Go to www.gamebookers.com and click the 'help' icon in the top navigation bar and go to 'Payments'. Take a look at all the other stuff and see if they're account you would want.

    A couple of things though:
    - ONLY the FIRST withdrawal a month is free. Any more withdrawals you want to make in that month will incur a fee. It's not too bad though and one withdrawal a month is enough I think.
    - They will probably ask for identification checks for your first withdrawal. You'll just have to send them a scan of your Passport to confirm who you are. They'll only ever ask this once and from then on you are free to withdraw money without hassle.

    Anyway, take a look at their betting options which are very good for football. The only account which is probably better is www.bet365.com.
