This goes out to all the computer experts around here...

How the hell could I overcome the Internet censorship in my country. I believe it is called NAT or something like that. Innocent sites such as yousendit.com are blocked overe here.

I used to google the term "start using cgiproxy" and just use any cgiproxy. But the authorities cracked up on this technique and blocked most of the proxies....are there any other ways?

PS: Majed I believe you are more knowledgable about this subject.

Seriously.

Outside of proxy software, I'm wondering if they're not savvy enough to block sites like the Anonymizer and other proxy Web sites.

3 opened but when I tried it, it blocked the site I typed:(

Iv seen a program called JAP, it worked with a friend...but it is a pain in the ass to install, you dont really know how to get it to work. My friend installed it and uninstalled 10's of times to get it right:fero:

From what I know, our friends from UAE and Saudi Arabia are being routed through a couple of big proxies out of the country, "at the border" if you will (or most likely just by the ISP). I've witnessed this as admin here, seeing that lots of users from that region always had the same range of IPs. On a bit of a tangent, the government of China is filtering about 10% of the entire internet for all Chinese net users, which they find reprehensible.

In case of site filtering by dns or IP, there's practically no way to connect to a site on the blacklist. I suppose a proxy could work, but proxies are notoriously slow and unreliable.

    Where are you located, Rami?

    hmm..

Try downloading the now discontinued touchnet browser.. It's still found here:
    http://count.skycn.com/softdownload...//xjvnet.driversky.com/down/touchnetsetup.exe
    http://count.skycn.com/softdownload...://cc163.driversky.com/down/touchnetsetup.exe
    http://count.skycn.com/softdownload.php?id=8155&url=http://jlbc.driversky.com/down/touchnetsetup.exe
    http://count.skycn.com/softdownload.php?id=8155&url=http://tjrx.driversky.com/down/touchnetsetup.exe
    http://count.skycn.com/softdownload.php?id=8155&url=http://jsyz.driversky.com/down/touchnetsetup.exe

One of these links should work.. Touchnet has a function where it can automatically put you through a proxy (you just have to click on update proxy list from tools->ip tools (or something like that).. and it gets a list of proxies.. try 'em out.. it can even rotate them every few seconds, if you want..

Oh, and if you're having trouble with serial #s and whatnot, PM me.. ;)
