If Juventus was playing the same as Argentina week in week out it would be world war 3 on this forum
They played like dog shit because they couldn't stretch the field and were way too predictable.

 Paraguay beat Colombia which means if Argentina win their last game they are through. Maybe they can hire Maradona for just that game.

Yeah looked like once Argentines reached a teammate no space was left although they could have done better with the chances they had still. Peru played a good game and kept being compact throughout the match.

Ever since Ronaldo won the Euros, the stars are lining up for the perfect Messi world cup win. Understandably, Zeus has been angered with Ronaldo acting like he thinks he's god and constantly overcoming all odds to succeed. And his good looks with the cute golden lock! Zeus couldn't stand it anymore!!!

So he ordered all the Gods to set up the biggest dick punch of all time to Ronaldo. The Euro win had given him a significant advantage over Messi in most people's eyes. What could possibly turn that into a bad thing? Zeus had the answer. And that answer was Messi winning the world cup 2 years later.

Imagine! The stories that would be written, the tales that would be told! Ronaldo would be but the villain in this story. His accomplishments would be unable to stand up to Messi's. Especially since Messi would have won the most difficult world cup of all time.

His team was a mess, a bunch of selfish assholes with not a single teamwork bone in their bodies. And they were being led by a terrible coach who ended yelling his way into the position by chance. He simply ended up having a very bad day. His dream job was starting to become just that, a dream. No dive bars were interested in paying him in cash plus drinks for being "the venue's personal Pitbull impersonator". So he went on craigslist and saw a job listing for Argie coach. He promptly showed at the team's headquarters and scremed at the Federation's president, wanting to know why he was not consulted before the listing was posted. Unfortunately for the Federation's President, the real President was also present. And he fell in love with Sampaoli. He loved the fire and grit!

This would put Messi at a huge disadvantage as Argentina would need to win with a last minute goal on their last game of the qualifiers in order to play in the world cup. A goal by Messi, as he takes the ball after heroically saving it out of his team's goal. He dribbles through everyone and ends up finishing on an empty net. Cheers erupt. This happens in every single game in the world cup and he ends up winning.

But this only spurs Ronaldo on to want more power. As he now plans to one day challenge Zeus for his spot among the clouds...to be continued

Argentina really are a shambles at the moment. Higuain is being used as a scapegoat for ARG's poor goal-scoring record by Sampaoli, the team just doesn't know how to do anything other than pass to Messi and hope for the best. They are atrocious to watch.

Argentina fucked up big time the moment they sacked Martino.

Sampaoli is clueless and his player selection leaves a lot to be desired.

And they be using poor Higgy as a scapegoat. Man, they had this coming.
