Alexis Sanchez best on the field by miles tonight, although I can't think of one England player who actually played well...
Looked like quite the lesson Chile gave England from what I saw.

Was particularly amusing to see the England didn't seem to have any plans to collectively press Chile when they were playing the ball around deep.

They just left Rooney up by himself doing the headless chicken thing instead. Like to see him manage to do that running and then still make a decent attacking contribution if England have to play in the heat and humidity next summer.

Have to say, aside from Ecuador, I believe all the South American qualifiers should be going into the World Cup thinking they have a genuine chance of winning it.

I'm not too sure if Chile could genuinely win it, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did a lot better than many big European nations.

As for England, unless they can keep the first XI fit and all playing well they will fold as usual. If they are placed in the north east of Brazil I even wouldn't bet against a group exit.

England is the most hilarious football nation on earth. Before every tournament they overhype their players into the sky, but in reality during the last 15 years (and maybe even longer, idk), they've never succeeded beyond the quarter final. Most overrated national team ever, and as always it will be a joy to watch them fail miserably.

$#@! just gets worse when shola $#@!ing ameobi scores, and to think only a few weeks ago there were actually people here wanting to replace Conte with Prandelli :howler:
prandelli is a great coach, it is a friendly playing with a reserve team, its been years since the last time we actually won a friendly, not counting san marino. We lost 3-0 to russia the game before the euros, it means nothing, if conte left prandelli would probably one of my first choices
