There's no such thing as Brazil being overrated. In the last 5 WC, they won 2 and should've won a third :sergio: Brazil is Brazil. Will always be favorites in every tournament they play. Stop this small team syndrome shit, please. You're sounding like Viola fans when they go about Juve.

And this time they're even more favorites playing at home. In fact, i have a feeling if not Brazil another South America team will win it. Argentina and Colombia (Yes, some people here forget a World Cup isn't like a league, it's only 7 matches. Once you get past the group stage it's anyone's game. And the SA teams will not have the support of only their own people but of Brazilians, they're home.) Plus they're used to the weather. As Maradona said, my prediction goes for Brazil or Argentina.

Fuck the history. Brazil have a weak coach and team. They're great in the first 45 minutes and then there's a hugh dive in quality the last 45 minutes. They will be punished against strong teams like Germany and Spain (might even Italy).

I have Germany as favourites and then Spain.

Edit: Colombia
And what do you mean with 'should've won'?
You like to talk about history, but what have they done since 2002?

Weak team and coach? That's some lame trolling.

Germany are massive chokers since 2002. I don't see why it would be different for them this time.

You're right, Brazil has done nothing since 2002. They just won 2 Copa Americas, 3 Confederations Cup and a Concacaf Cup. Nothing indeed. Where are you from again? And what have they won...since ever?

Please tell me how you know that coach. and Please tell me how he made his team absolutely humiliate the arguarly best team in the world?

Fuck the history? Right, fuck Zidane, Fuck Del Piero, Fuck Platini, Fuck Juventus and every one of it's players and titles from the past. Oh god, you're helpless...

So? in 2001 we lost to Honduras. The GREAT Honduras. And yet we all know what happened one year later.

Yes, there's no Ronaldo or Ronaldinho or Rivaldo or etc...The problem was that this new gen took quite a while to show up. We were pretty much like Italy a couple years back, with no young talent worth mentioning. Now there is plenty. And they've shown what they can do. But still IMO Brazil will be the strongest in 2018.

You guys have good talent in defense and mid in Oscar but the attack is so lackluster. But we'll see. I just realized you're from Brazil so I doubt I'll be able to change your mind about Brazil being favorites only on paper :p

And they choked in every SF. Twice against Italy and even more so against Spain in '10.
Oh plz. They're still the most complete and most dangerous team by far. Every competition they're the one team with a legitimate chance of winning and Lowe has been in charge long enough where he's bound to learn from his mistakes.

The attack is fine and should do fine in the WC, Jô seems to be the next number 9 and he's a talented kid. You can hate him all you want but Neymar will be important next year and you know as much as i do he can make the difference.

It's not about being Brazilian, it's about being logical. Brazil has the talent and the fans support to win it. It's only logical to be one of the favorites. You do realize that being a favorite doesn't automatically make you THE winner, right?

Germany has been (on paper) the best squad in the last, at least, 5 years. To me anyway. But yet, they have a history of getting ass raped by Italy and Brazil. So that's the one thing you guys have to understand, a WC is not always about the best team winning, When those big teams collide it can go either way no matter who's better at the moment.

I said fuck history, cause this Brazil team is one of the weakest Brazil teams I've seen.
Since your team are not in Europe, I prefer only to use the World Cup as benchmark.

It wasn't hard to humiliate Spain since Brazil had one extra day to rest in + Spain played maybe their hardest 120 minutes for years, against Italy.
Brazil give away too many chances and that's why I don't think they will win - you have Sideshow Bob in defense ffs.

Edit: I forgot about all the ridiculous freekicks Neymar's diving gave in the Confed. I don't think that will happen in the WC, but who knows. That was a factor too this summer.

Yet beat the best by a quite convincing scoreline and performance.
Your mistake. Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay were always as strong and/or stronger as the top 3 European teams.

Oh come on, that crap again? You want to tell me that athletes/professionals can't handle playing another 30 mins divided in 2 halfs? pfff..
Spain lost because they are a predictable team. There's no secret to stopping them, pressure them at their own half and they get lost. Bayern did it against Barça, and so did Italy and us against Spain. Anyone with a good team and the right mentality can stop their tiki-taka shit.

Please stop. :sergio: You just wanna hate but you have no argumentation as to why. It's Just hate for the sake of hating.

Uruguay
You're just like Cronios right now. Buhu, a hater.
Let's wait and see. Everything and I mean everything went Brazil's way this year and I rhink it's unlikely it will happen again. And let's not forget Brazil's motivation to go for the win this summer.

What everything? God, you're a poor hater. You lack the argumentation to back up whatever you think helped Brazil to win this last tournament. Or as i suspect you probably started watching football post-2002 and can't understand why Brazil is regarded as it is. In fact, i know a lot English kids who come up with the same shit as you do just because they aren't old enough to have seen some of the best players the sport has to offer.

Yes, Uruguay In fact, those top 3 teams i mentioned has won more times than the top 3 European. So don't discard Uruguay like that, be clever.

No, you do not want to read. Fuck off with the "hater" thing already. You're so butthurt right now it's unbelieveble.

Edit: I just read your whole post. I only watched post 2002
Your only argument is history.
