What makes you say that?

The latest Coppa America Argentina looked miles ahead of Brazil, everyone tipped them to win. Both reached the final but Argentina were absent on the field. And that was not so long ago.
I know what you mean but I think Argetina is much more superior now.

I think it's the end of good ol' Brazil.Pretty much same goes for Italy.

I love how defensively Brazil are playing these days.

Should shut up the people who cite them as a shining example of how football ought to be played.

But the Argentinians often choke when they meet Brazil.

True that Jack. Time and time again they have choked against the Brazilians. Doesn't look like its stopping anytime soon either.

They look better on paper most of the time, they perform better throughout the entire tournaments and they look more complete as a team. All that until they meet Brasil.

I don't see a logical explanation for it at all. The last Copa America, Argentina was sweeping teams off the park, while Brazil barely got through to the final. Yet they were still outclassed in the final by the Brazilians.

I agree about Italy, they need to switch into a fresh era but they don't have the players quality enough to replace the the ones of the last glorious periods but it's not the same with Brazilians. Talented players are the mass production of this country. They have one of the best goalies right now, the best right back, the best attacking midfielder and we're about to see the likes of Pato and Anderson being great players. Inasmuch the next World Cup is gonna be held out of Europe I reckon the Brazil NT as the favorites to win it.

Italy is just sad. They are pretty bad without Totti,Del Piero and old Pirlo. Now I see them, dare I say, pretty weak with Pepe,Di Natale and Co.
I don't really think Brazil is going to be in the finals.I see your point though...they do have many good players but most of the time I see them they look just awful so it's not talented players that they lack but something else and because of that I think they'll come empty-handed and overall with pretty weak results but we shall see.

Same thing has been said before 06 but they didn't impress. They had Ronaldinho Kaka partnership with the likes of Ronaldo etc, still they couldn't make the semis.

It has to do more than having talented players. Adapting players together, using each player well in your formation also makes a difference and completes the other half which is the talent.

Italy's 'best' players can still make a very good side.

Lippi seems to have different ideas from everyone else as to what the best team is, though.

italy's best side right now cannot beat brazil imo.
maybe not right now, because the likes of Camoranesi and Gattuso is injured, also Chiellini is finding his best form and Ale isnt a part or the team right know, but world cup is different thing. in terms of talent and tactics itally are superior to almost every team in world right know, lippi is just hiding his real cards in the qualification, becuz he can make it to africa without the big guns.

yeah but he needs to improve the game relations ( passes..coordonation between the players)...that's why i think that this is not a good ideea..and it will afect italy in the future.

2 hours till our probably most decisive game in this qualifiers, I hope that we will not choke like we used to choke before. We really need victory and I hope that we gonna win and have a reason to celebrate in this miserable time in our country. I also haope that we will finally see Pjanic playing more time instead of Ibricic.

However Forza Bosna, Forza Herzegovina!!!

Yup, since i expect an easy win for Croatia over Andorra, my main match tonight will be B&H- Belgium, and i'm whole heartedly on your side. (*even though it still hurts when i remember how the Bosnians celebrated the Turkish win over us at the Euro. But i'll cheer for Bosnia and Herzegovina even when they'll play against Turkey. And i cheer for Spain tonight only because a Spanish win suits the Bosnians more :D )
