If I had to comment like that every time a few of yours got skinned, even in this bad bad display of ours, my keyboard would be broken now. :p

Anyway, commentators calling us terrible, which is true and was expected really. An international friendly when all leagues are slowly going into the decisive phase, CL games next week. Don't see the point.
Yeah, we weren't very good. Elia was your best player and much of that was because of how poor Bornstein is and Spector was.

But this Holland won't go far in SA. Pretty weak group of players as far as I'm concerned, especially with what we're used to from the Orange. Quarters and out, in my opinion.

Spector was fine. He's solid on the defense and puts in a good cross every not and then. Good back up til Steve C. gets back.

Bornstein on the other hand is terrible. I'd rather have Heath or Carlos on the left and Goodsen in the center.

Bedoya and Edu were the two bright spots, also Holden before the injury.

That wasn't meant to make fun of your team, read my post above.

We always go out early, right after the group stages, and I've gotten so used to it that I'm fully expecting us to go out early aswell. I don't agree on us having a weak group of players though, we have plenty of creativity in midfield and upfront, we just lack a bit in defence.

When our guys step it up we can be really good, like in the group stages at the Euros, but like my German mates always tell me.. we die of beauty. Won't be any different in SA.

Spector got burned by Elia and made some uncharacteristically poor crosses. Below average match for him.

I'd still stick with him over Dolomite, however.

I thought DeMerit was good today as well. Cut out a lot of crosses in the air and didn't get burned on the dribble. I think DeMerit and Gooch should be the duo at the back, as I've said for months now.

Move Boca out left.
