Injuries to our two worst players by far. :weee: :xfinger:

These are what I call "positive injuries." :D
“Rugani will play tomorrow. I hadn’t seen many guarantees from him in training and preferred to use other players in certain games. Claudio Marchisio is called up, but not Blaise Matuidi because he has a muscular issue in the flexor.

“Mattia De Sciglio will return to training with the squad on Monday, Marko Pjaca will play with the Primavera squad to get minutes in his legs and Benedikt Howedes will slowly get into the group from Monday. Giorgio Chiellini will 99 per cent play tomorrow.

Sturaro & Benatia miss Juve training
By Football Italia staff

Juventus have confirmed that Stefano Sturaro and Medhi Benatia did not train with the squad on Friday.

A statement on Juve’s official website explained Benatia had “a knock to his left ankle” from Wednesday’s 2-1 win against Sporting CP, while Sturaro had “a problem in his left thigh.”

The defender’s absence should see Daniele Rugani enter the Bianconeri’s line-up for the match against Udinese on Sunday, while Sturaro had been filling in at right-back.

Benedikt Howedes is still out with an ankle injury, but Mattia De Sciglio is closing in on a return as he joined Marko Pjaca in training ‘partially’.

Juventus duo make comebacks | Football Italia

Marko Pjaca was on target and Benedikt Howedes got a run-out in today’s friendly, as the Juventus pair get closer to their comebacks.

The Bianconeri earned a 6-0 victory over a local side this afternoon, with Douglas Costa’s brace, plus goals from Pjaca, Claudio Marchisio, Rodrigo Bentancur and Daniele Rugani.

Croatia international winger Pjaca has been out of action since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in March, but is practically ready for a comeback.

Howedes arrived in Turin over the summer, but still hasn’t been able to make his debut in a Juventus jersey due to a couple of thigh issues.

Both players could well take part in this weekend's Serie A match with Benevento.

Cuadrado injured with Colombia
By Football Italia staff

Juan Cuadrado has suffered a thigh injury with Colombia, and will return to Juventus for scans.

The winger missed today’s 4-0 friendly win over Marcello Lippi’s China, and TuttoJuve reports that he has a problem with his left adductor.

It’s thought that Coach Jose Pekerman has granted Cuadrado permission to return to Turin early, where he’ll undergo tests to understand the extent of the injury.

The Bianconeri face Sampdoria away on Sunday afternoon, and currently sit just a point behind Napoli at the top of Serie A.
