HIGUAIN WAS BACK - Gonzalo Higuain was seen again yesterday as he partially trained with his teammates. This is a very good news for him and for Juve as he is on track to play for the bianconeri in their game against Tottenham. On a less positive note, Mario Mandzukic did not train with his teammates yesterday as he is still in doubt for this big UEFA Champions league game. He, alongside Higuain and De Sciglio, will be re-evaluated later on today by the Juve medical staff.

Tbh, given the form Manduzkic is in, it's better that we don't rely on him for the Spurs game. We need to be more direct and dynamic in this game. Mandzukic has been very static and more of a burden/liability in recent outings. It seems evident that he's nursing an injury and should therefore not be risked or relied upon.

Did benatia go off with an injury?
I think he was playing through a knock he took against Lazio and Max subbed him to be safe since a limping Benatia will get killed by Kane.

In the post match photo you can see his left ankle taped. Pretty sure that's where he got hit vs. Lazio.

So I think he'll be OK, it's not a muscle thing.

Are berna and cuads more or less out for the season?
Hopefully not, Cuads should be back in the next couple of weeks if the previous updates are to be correct, whereas nobody knows whats the update with Bernardeschi's swollen knee atm.

I guess the good news is that there are no new discouraging news regarding them...

We need them back and fit for the Q-F's tho, maybe the club will eventually give an update on their respective conditions, most likely to happen sooner rather than later.

Mandzukic to miss Udinese? | Football Italia

It’s reported Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic could miss this weekend’s Udinese game, but he could return for Atalanta.

The Croatian striker is suffering with a muscular injury, and missed last night’s win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League.

The Bianconeri take on Udinese on Sunday afternoon, but Sky reports that Mandzukic may not be ready for that game.

However, the injury is nothing too serious so he could be back for Wednesday’s game with Atalanta, a match which was initially snowed off on February 25.

If Juve beat Udinese this weekend, that match will give them the opportunity to go top of Serie A.

its really so unfortunate that Bernardeschi is probably out for the season. he's really been improving and I felt that he actually looked very threatening many times in the first leg vs Spurs

Benatia doubt for Udinese? | Football Italia

Medhi Benatia is reportedly a doubt for Juventus’ visit of Udinese in Serie A on Sunday with an ankle problem.

According to Premium Sport, Benatia took a blow to the ankle during Juve’s 2-1 win at Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League on Wednesday.

The issue forced him to leave the game in the second half, but while the broadcaster notes the defender will be assessed “in the coming hours”, it expects him to still be called up for the match this weekend.

However, the Moroccan may be rested with the Bianconeri’s forthcoming commitments in mind, possibly opening the door to Daniele Rugani.

#Benatia trained normally with the group yesterday.

#Cuadrado will be available to [Mr.] #Allegri after the international break.

#Bernardeschi's condition is improving & he'll be monitored on a weekly basis.

#mm17 has recovered for #JuveUdinese
