Is that official from the club?
Milan game is October 28th. Let's hope it's more like 3 weeks rather than 4.
Even if it was 3 he wouldn't be match fit to actually start

Schalke: If Howedes wants…
By Football Italia staff

Schalke have told Juventus defender Benedikt Howedes that he can return to the club for injury treatment.

Howedes joined Juve on a season-long loan at the end of last month, but the German has yet to feature for the Bianconeri and is set to miss another month with an ankle injury.

That has prompted Schalke sporting director Christian Heidel to tell reporters: “If Benedikt wants, we’ll offer to cure him from his injury.”

The Bundesliga side will be interested to see how the 29-year-old recovers, given they will be in line to receive a total of €16.5m from Juve once he plays 25 games in Turin.

Khedira out with new knee inflammation. Cuadrado might not play with a knock on his foot.

Pjanic and marchisio still out. Höwedes hopefully back after international break.

Pjaca nearing Juventus return
By Football Italia staff

Marko Pjaca could make his Juventus return this month, as it’s reported he’ll start training with the team next week.

The Croatian winger has been out since Marchwith a cruciate ligament injury, which he suffered while on international duty.

According to this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Pjaca will begin working with the rest of the team at Vinovo next week.

While the 22-year-old won’t be rushed back, it’s thought he could return to the pitch by the end of October, depending on his frame of mind.

Mandzukic 'potentially serious' injury
By Football Italia staff

Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic sustained a “potentially serious” ankle injury while playing for Croatia last night.

The striker had been on the scoresheet in the World Cup qualifier against Finland, but limped off after an hour.

It was a blow to the same ankle he has been struggling with recently.

“Mario’s problem is potentially serious, as he limped away despite the fact he has a very high pain threshold,” explained Croatia Coach Ante Cacic.

“Over the next few days we’ll see the extent of the issue and work out what is to be done next.”

Brozovic and Mandzukic injured
By Football Italia staff

Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Juventus forward Mario Mandzukic sustained injuries on international duty with Croatia.

The pair limped off during the 1-1 draw with Finland last night, which looks as if it’ll push Croatia into the World Cup play-offs, as Iceland now top their group.

A statement from the Croatian Federation confirmed Brozovic has been sent back to Italy after suffering a muscular problem, so has been ruled out of Monday’s game against Ukraine in Kiev.

Although Coach Ante Cacic spoke of a “potentially serious” ankle injury for Mandzukic, the Juventus striker is being kept with the Croatia team for the moment.

He will travel to Kiev early and undergo treatment there to see if he’s ready to face Ukraine on Monday.

Another International Duty injury :touched:

What's the deal? Croatia coach said he thinks it's serious only because Mandzukic feeled pain in his leg despite the fact that "he has a high pain threshold". That's just funny, Mario isn't a robot. I think it's just a bruise, anyway we'll see it on the observation.
