Felice Piccolo
Due to fibrosis in the area previously operated on, the player underwent a surgical review this morning of the existing scar on his left heel. Following physiotherapy, the player is expected to resume training in around eight week’s time. The operation was carried out in Perugia, by ProfessorGiuliano Cerulli.

With a view to accelerating the healing process, Igor Tudor, suffering from a bacterial infection for the last ten days, underwent an arthroscope of the right ankle this afternoon to clean up the tibio-tarsic joint and introduce specific antibiotics. The operation was carried out at the Fornaca clinic, Turin, by Dr Roberto Raveda, assisted by Dr Raimondo Piana.

Robert Kovac continues to work his way back to fitness following the injury to his right ankle which ruled him out of a call-up from his national side this week. He will be unavailable for next Wednesday’s (August 16th) friendly against Piacenza but is expected to be ready in time for the first game of the Tim Cup.

Raffaele Palladino continues to work his way back to fitness after injuring his right ankle fifteen days ago. The player is expected to return to training in another fifteen day’s time.

Medical Bulletin: 18th August

On the eve of the TIM Cup tie with Martina, the first competitive outing of the 2006/07 season, the Juventus medical staff have issued the following medical bulletin. The notice relates to Tudor, Palladino and Zebina.

Tudor: the general condition of the tibio-tarsic joint is improving. The player will therefore be able to leave the Fornaca clinic at some stage tomorrow and continue treatment at home. However, it will be a long time before the Croatian defender is able to resume training.

Palladino: carrying the after-effects of a sprain to the left ankle. The forward’s condition has improved and he has begun running again. Training will increase in intensity over the coming days.

Zebina: After undergoing surgery on the 7th of July this year, the player has resumed running work and is training under the guidance of the athletic department. The French defender will himself begin more intensive training over the next few days with a view to returning to full fitness in early September.

Positive to see Palladino getting better, we knew Tudor was a wreck so we can't really be surprised about that and Zebina will probably according these news be ready for when the league begins.

Medical bulletin: 3rd September

Suffering from minor knocks and bruises, Mauro Camoranesi, Pavel Nedved and Cristiano Zanetti pulled out of training today and will not travel to Pescara for the friendly against Roma

Back from international duty with France, David Trezeguet will carry out fitness work to aid his return to peak athletic condition. Jonathan Zebina has resumed training and is making good progress towards a full recovery.

Following a fortnight's recovery leave in Croatia, Igor Tudor is expected back on Tuesday. He will be visited by the medical staff, but it will be a while before he returns to full fitness.

Following the operation on the tendon in his left foot, Felice Piccolo began physiotherapy today; a lengthy recovery time is expected for him too.

I know I heard somewhere that he was injured, but Rebel reported news from Reuters that I couldn't deny.
