Old inside joke. Someone (Martin) decided to open a few thread that basically ignited a philosophical war between theists and atheists. The theists in the forum went all Kaka and wrote "I love god" on their sigs. Some atheists (and one guy who sits in the 'i don't care' realm) wrote "god is gay" on their sigs. Red (Andy from Scotland) upstaged everyone by writing "I am God" in his sig. He has since left his position open.

Someone sent around a PM telling everyone to put "I LOVE GOD" in big red writing as their sigs to annoy a certain member (6+1). Quite a few people did this and for a day or 2 the forum was covered in the red I love God sigs. Red didn't put that but instead put "I am God" in the same big red font.
At least that's the version of events that I'm aware of.
