What you said sounds somewhat ironic though, considering your history with Juventuz. (dont tell me the actual idea of this forum wasnt about Juventus fc) :p.
Nah, I just don't respond to these things the way you guys do. When we get humiliated (and no, this doesn't top Dortmund in 97 or ManU in 2003) it just makes me laugh. I feel detached from it, observing from a distance. But when we win I'm all in there :D

It's probably a coping mechanism given how we love to lose CL finals. Evolution ftw :juventus:

Sure, i wasnt crying either. Rather pissed and furious that we didnt make the knockouts though. And i am not even pissed at the players but coaching stuff.

But when i think uefa cup, i cant say no more than it gives me a bitter taste in the mouth. I rather dont play in europe at all.

I think that the problem is that we always seem to field 11 players but never a team. This sums it up for me. A team would miss Chiellini and Sissoko, but it wouldn't collapse without them.

If the team works as a unit, as oppossed to 11 headless chickens moving around the pitch aimlessly, the individual talents would make the difference. But tactically we're nowhere, we have no game plan other than kick the ball and hope it falls on trez/amauri's head and try to win a rebound. How can we expect individual brilliance when we can't even get the basics right?

A team closes down spaces collectively. Yesterday nothing of the sort was done and Bayern looked like a great football team because we were so horrible, opening up spaces for them everywhere. It seemed like our intention was to create as much room for them to work in as possible.

We were winning 1 nil for God's sake! How hard is it really to keep possession for ten minutes to frustrate and tire the opposition and then hit them when they're unbalanced? At half-time we were still 1-1 and Bayern still needed to chase the game. Why didn't he replace Ale with Seba, who could have taken the left spot with Marchisio helping Melo? Is that so difficult to come up with? Gio has speed and can dribble. We could have changed the game at half-time. Instead we did nothing.

If the 11 players can't work as a unit, there is only one person to blame, the one whose job it is to work a unit out of individuals, the coach.

For the first time, maybe after the 2003 final vs Milan I had tears watching Juventus.

It's not because we were eliminated as much as it's because I've never seen such a performance by Juventus since several years, not even when we were in Serie B this happened.

I seriously couldn't sleep last night, and I haven't rested since the defeat. I feel pain and I feel like little kid who lost something precious.

To me, everyone holds the responsibility of this defeat.

The Management, for negligence.
The Coach, for terrible and late substituions and decisions.
The players, for not running and for not respecting the jersey they're wearing.

I feel sorry mostly for Del Piero. Unlucky with his injuries since the beg of the season and this was his main chance or shot to get a call for his South Africa ticket. Taking him out for Poulsen wasn't wise at all and like vlatko said, I knew we were going to loose with this subs. At least take him out for Seba.

I love our old guard and I don't have the balls to criticize any of them that much I admit. I love them too much to criticize them. As for the others, I was disappointed like never.

Lets hope we can at least keep competing in Serie A till the end of the season. And hopefully our next CL road will get better.

Forza Juve.
Same here. I was speechless while receiving messages on my cell from other football fans asking me, wtf was going on. Some of my friends were asking me, how we even managed to get so far. The way we played in this CL, we should have been out before the last game. Seriously, I cant imagine ONE good halftime in this CL season. Who is to blame? Ciro. The subs were awful and STILL (we have the 9th december) he can't figure out which formation is the best for us.
For 20 minutes in the game, I had the feeling, that we didn't have any formation. It was a headless chicken remix of a 4-3-1-2 and a 4-1-4-1.

With the squad and the champions we have at juve, Ciro is not getting the best out of it. Its painfull for us to watch, its painfull for the players and its even worse for ciro, as he loves this club. I am sure about that. He should resign.

Oh boy, we are in the Europe League. Man,..... can't believe it. Worst thing is, that the board are STILL giving ciro more time. This is a nightmare. may someone stop it please.....

I said i have caught swine flu and stayed home.
I just turned off my cell and locked myself in the room. Just didn't know what to do, I didn't even log into the forums, did not want to read a thing concerning this game.

I hate this chapter of my life.

Really? Some people take this stuff much too seriously.
I'm one of these people. I can't help myself.

I really didn't feel the pain. Whenever we play such a shitty match & lose it just registers as we deserved it. It was ugly & shameful. Bayern owned us in Turin in such a conclusive manner that I just sat there & laughed. We have some major rebuilding to come. Estebans sig material describes it all.

I still can't believe what Ivica Olic of all people was doing to us yesterday. I know the guy since he started his career and I never rated him.
He improved a lot lately, though.

Still, his off the ball movement was always his quality. And as boring as I sound, i'll repeat again that we lack that. We desperately lack that, especially without Iaquinta in our attack.

If you have the strength to do it, then watch yesterday's match again.
Olic runs, without purpose at first glance, the other Bayern players see his run and pass the ball. We do it differently. We just kick the ball without thinking where it will go and the attacker runs to catch it. Of course, he'll catch it only once in 30 tries while Olic will get it 9 times out of 10 because he's already running before the ball is passed to him and he already gained advantage over his markers. Plus he's making the defenders tired. Bordeaux were doing the same to us, even fucking Matri and Palermo's attackers were doing the same.

And surprisingly, when you check the stats, expecting that we ran at least 10 kms less than the other team, you'll see that our players cover almost the same kms the opponents do. Well, it's not so surprising maybe when you see that we run without any purpose and we run just for the sake of running.

It's awful, it's disgusting, it's a coach fault. Then again, our off the ball movement has been pretty poor not only this season so it might not be Ferrara's fault only. It's a problem of the Italian football school.

Work on that dammit.
