i did mean del p in his prime thou. i believe he is a top 50 of all time but not like dinho a top 5 and ronaldo a top 15.

checked out soccer-europe (good site). just to compare: sheva is an astonishing striker but he score .56 goals per game. ale is also just over .50 which is great for a forward (supporting striker). ronaldo even including years after injury has an average of .82. truly unreal.

anyway: where do all u people figure ale is on the alltime list?
Alex = 0.397 goals per game. Yeah, he could have scored more. You could have also scored less.

If not for the injury and the scoreless following season, this could have been higher.

As far as raw talents, you can't deny DP's talent. He's up there with the greatest. What he really didn't have is luck.

Del Piero: A Win Worth Gold
12/6/2005 6:17:00 AM
The Juve captain outlined the importance of the win achieved by his side against Fiorentina last Sunday.
Alessandro Del Piero commented positively the win with which the Bianconeri increased the lead over second-placed side Milan in the past weekend.

“It’s a win which is worth gold. Three very important points which increase our lead over Milan to 8 points. Therefore it’s a double satisfaction, which increases when we consider the level of our opponents, very tough in Coppa Italia and very dangerous in the league.”

Juventus have so far won 13 out of their 14 league matches, with the only defeat coming against Milan.
