Why are we considering 179 the number to be broken? not 182??

Does anybody know which is more accurate?

(escluso Coppa Latina 1952)

DEL PIERO Alessandro 179
BONIPERTI Giampiero 179
BETTEGA Roberto 178
SIVORI Omar 166
BOREL II Felice Placido 158
ANASTASI Pietro 130
HANSEN John 124
BAGGIO Roberto 115
MUNERATI Federico 114
TREZEGUET David 106
CHARLES John 105
PLATINI Michel 104
GABETTO Guglielmo 103

the 3 goals scored by BONIPERTI have been in an unofficial tourement. so 179 is the record, but it does not matter, ale will surly score more than 182 goals inshalah.:weee:

Yes I think they can. Bayern will play Brugge in Belgium where again the Belgians will not want to attack, thus giving the Germans a hard time scoring. Juventus will play Rapid in Vienna, a team that has collected zero points, lost against Brugge at home. Juventus will be back with a rebound on a low scoring game against Brugge and a mentality to score as much as possible to gain the top spot. Afterall, Bayern are ahead of Juventus by one goal only, so I don't see it a difficult task. Win the game by three goals and you're there definitely.

If Juventus are really interested in topping the group, they can do it and I am sure the players will be motivated to do it. Yesterday Capello said he's not really interested in clinching the top spot, if that's the case then expect a weird lineup with no will to do anything about the match.

i hope that is not the case as we would probably end up with barca, lyon or chelsea in the next round:frown: and we are getting sick of knocking out the good teams too early:)

I hope we meet a big team as early as possible and get rid of them rather than meet a big team later on and the disappointment will be bigger.
