I think that's totally missing the point, Zlatan has years ahead of him. , its really crazy that people cant see the simple truth.
Blinded by love for Del Piero. He was a great player and captain, but there are simply better options or better investments for Juve.

BTW, with all due respect fort DP, You wont win championships by only having respect for a players past.

DP was better this season than last but I can hardly call him a star player. more of a famous player.
Your talking as if he did nothing this year.

Ale: "Io e Capello? Perfetto"

"My rapport with Capello? Perfect. It's my first time in Hong Kong and I don't wish to disappoint the fans. In Tokyo it will be decisive, but <translation failure>, I'd like to score there too."

May I correct your translation Martin :)

"My relationship with Capello? Perfect. It's my first time in Hong Kong and I don't want to disappoint the fans: I was decisive in Tokyo, but I won't stop, I want to score here as well."

The way how he replied to the relationship with Capello sounds like he just wanted to cut short.

Bah, it wasn't all that bad, I did most of it right
Yeah but with those small mistakes they would have accused you of twisting DP's words and being an anti DP journalist :p

Liverpool plan £15M bid for Real Madrid star Raul

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez is planning a shock bid for Real Madrid captain and talisman Raul.

Benitez is aiming to take advantage of Raul's testy relationship with Real coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo by offering a guaranteed starting place at Anfield.

The Sun says Benitez is lining up a sensational £15million bid for the Spanish superstar.

The Liverpool boss wants Raul, who made FOUR private visits to Anfield last season, to spearhead his Kop revolution.

The Real Madrid and Spain captain even watched a Reds training session on one trip.

Raul said: "After 11 years here I want what's best for the club. If at some time I have to sacrifice myself in order for the team to progress, then I will do.
"If the club calls you up and says you have to go, then as a player you have to be prepared to look for a way out that benefits everyone.

"If I listen to the polls in some papers, it looks as though I should leave now. I still feel useful to the club and believe I haven't reached my peak, but I don't want to be in the way. All I want is for the club to be clear with me."

The situation of Raul seems very similar to ALe's situation, don't you think guys ??
with the exception that DP played better in the previous season...

Neither do i because at the end of the day Raul loves Real Madrid way too much. I think he would play for next to nothing to play for them. As Del Piero would play for next to nothing to play for Juve.

BEs do you think any other player would have stayed at the club with the criticism from press and fans like you. Not a lot of players could take criticism and still state that they love the club. (eg rivaldo at milan) most players would leave with criticism like that. Del PIero and Raul only know one home and they are at the point of their career where they dont want change they want to retire at somewhere they love. And Del Piero has even stayed professional about the criticism and let his playing do the talking to shut the press up. As much as you may hate to hear it, Del Piero and Juve are a love affair that will never end, and i believe that when del pieros contract renewal comes he will play for next to nothing. Bes they even have a job for him in the team when he retires.

I think what Bes meant is nothing is certain in football today. His love for the club isn't enough to guarantee his place in the club. He can be sold by his club just like any other footballers in the world.
