Just look at how they're praising Del Piero, Bes. Don't you think people writing for la gazzetta know their stuff?
A season of highs and lows. Capello substituted him 28 times, but the final touch to secure to scudetto was his. For the Juve fans he's the most beautiful thing there is. But this year, many doubted Alessandro Del Piero. Still considered a good player, but not anymore a champion and symbol of Juve.

With Capello, Del Piero wasn't untouchable any longer. He was just one out of many. Him, Del Piero, the man with 5 scudetti, 1 CL and an Intercontinental Cup. Considered less than Trezeguet and Zlatan he was also put aside by Zalayeta.

But in the decisive game in San Siro, he decided fate with an athletic and technical masterpiece, an extremely important assist, which Trezeguet put away to decide the championship.

He's a champion on and off the pitch. Apparently the fans in the Curva aren't that stupid: or isn't that the most beautiful thing there is?

(It's just a very loose and bad translation, because my English well.. sucks..)

i don't know how a real juve fans hate del piero
so if anyone said that he is a good player infront of any other club fan they will kill him ??
he give and give and give and what he get !!?? nothin

He's been rewarded more than fairly, believe you me.

And I doubt there are Juve fans that hate Del Piero, but just because we love Juventus doesnt mean we have to love him.

. Kovacevic screwed it himself and so did Miccoli and Di Vaio. At no point in time they were good enough to replace Il Capitano, just admit it Bes. They FAILED.

None of them were world class like Del Piero ONCE was, but all of them were mostly kept on the bench despite being in better form than Del Piero.

If they weren't world class, they were not good enough to be at Juventus anyway. I doubt Miccoli would have played the season Del Piero played. What everyone seems to forget as well, is that Del Piero in fact did spend a lot of time on the bench.

First of all, at no point after his injury was Del Piero world class. By your logic that would mean he didnt deserve to be at Juventus. Secondly, you cant have 25 world class players in a team.

Your wrong. My personal opinion is not better, is just another one...

What i was trying to mean, donny, was that it is an opinion, an not a fact.
ex: "At no point after his injury was Dp world class". Its an opinion...

"Juventus has won 28 scudetti". Its a fact.....

Just that

No but About five hundred experts in soccer would argue that because it was him who led us to champs final and won us scudetto in 2003 and in 2002 he won us the scudetto because he made sure his team never gave up even in the last game of the season.

never gave up ? what do you call milan - juve in 2003 ? if that didnt prove that without nedved we couldnt do shit then i dont think anything proved it.

Del Piero can't over-take 11 players by himself, neither do Nedved, I don't think Pavel would had done something also if Dp wasn't there.

you just said that del piero was Mr. Season that year. I am not saying that either him or Nedved were Mr. Season but if you were to look at our most influential player that season it should rightfully be nedved

well it is rather simple to "prove" that. would you say that before the injury del piero was world class ? if yes, then compare his numbers pre and after the injury and see if you get even half the goals and assists

We played well before the Extratimes and Conte managed to hit the bar on a DP cross...If only it had gone in...Del Piero was also very dangerous on 2 occasions but Dida denied him a goal, Trez missed a follow-up...Remember DP scored his Pen! Fvcking Pens!
