That's not always true, Dan. DP has been bashed for over 7 years now. I don't think ANY player would have handled it better than Del Piero. The fact he still plays is a miracle on itself.
In the end, he is the master of what he feels. He handled it with great character, but if that is the cause of what is making him play bad, thats ****ing ridicolous.

Perhaps. Though I don't think too many players would do better under such pressure. Then again, he IS Del Piero and maybe should do better. I just hope he won't receive much criticism for a while now.

I would take the stick DP has received over the years for a wage packet as big as his. No F*cking doubt about it.
Oh really? So you think Del Piero still needs the money? He could have stopped in 1999 and he wouldn't have had to worry about anything.

I am just extremely happy with Del Piero's performance in perhaps the most crucial match of the season. If confidence out on the pitch is the issue with Alex, he certainly must have some after that performance yesterday. Hopefully this added confidence will carry on for some time because, if he can do it in those circumstances against Milan, he should be able to perform like that against the Lecces, Brescias, Parmas, etc a bit more consistently. Not many are better than an inform Alex.

All I'm saying is, yes DP has received a lot of stick, but that doesn't make him out to be some sort of martyr does it?

It's not as if he is getting nothing in return for all this, he has been rewarded quite well I think over the years. I'd put up with a lot of sh*t for the money he is earning.

DP played well on Sunday, I don't think he was man of the match - but we have to see how he carries this form on - if indeed he does. We'll just have to wait and see.

I read some posts stating he played well for only one game this season..What da fff****k???

He is Serie A's most decisive player in terms of decisive goals scored and earned us at least 26 points...Which doesn't mean those victories are all his...Dida, Maldini, Nesta, Gattuso do a freakin' job yet it is Sheva who is often picked out for praise...

Dan, that is because Camo does not have to prove himself to millions of critics who are against him, every time he touches the ball, like DP does. One bicycle kick? Too bad you did not see the match. DP was in great form and did so much more than just one assist. This was the "Scudetto Showdown" and nobody thought Juve would win. We needed leadership, we needed creativity, and we needed somebody to step up and take control of the match. DP delivered. Sombody said that he played like a captain, and that is what he did. DP ruled that match, the biggest match of the season no less.

Sure it is incorrect to say "he's back" based on one match, but for now people should acknowledge that DP is not finished. There is still a lot he offers.
Amen brother..what a great post i agree with ya..your on my buddy list now cause it aint the first time i totally agree with ya;)

Yes, but this is still one game. I ****ing screamed his name when he did the bicycle kick, but the way the forum is talking about it..

All im saying is that DP has underperformed for a majority of the season, which is extremely funny for a first placed team, but he actually plays well one match and everyone is kissing his ass. IMO, Camo against Madrid far outclassed this DP, but we wont hear the end of this.
what one game are you talking about???

This is the Scudetto Show-Down, one of the most important matches for Juve this Year.

Del Piero played great and he deserve all this, no-body said he's god as you just mentioned, although i would say that anytime....

Now why can't you guys shut up, because am sick of you and the others.
