o come on, u don't want him to be another Inzaghi rite? :) At least his form can contribute to the team.
It was you that started talking about goals ;)

I can't imagine myself seeing him wearing the captain's armband of Italy.....
A nightmare.

erm can uprovide a link to see where I can get the caps of players? Thanks.
Sure (Caps = presenze)
http://www.figc.it/nazionali/Marcatori?squadra=1

or write the name of the player and click on "Solo per la nazionale corrente"
http://www.figc.it/nazionali/ConvCalc?squadra=1

or check the list of players that already have been captains

Btw, I was checking the goals of the players and I noticed that if one counts the goals scored by a player in all NTs (Under16, Under17, Under 19 and so on) the result is that Del Piero, with 40 goals, is the one that scored more in the NT history. Nice :)

On the Totti topic, I hope italy leave him out of WC 2006 unless he is showing truely amazing class.

His mentality is destroying the team, I'd rather have a milan midfield consisting of Gattuso and Pirlo then have Totti.

In terms of DP, I don't mind he doesnt get a call for this one, it'll build his competitive mentality, encouraging him to perform even better and consistant

I really hope that Totti is dropped, however since the coach is Lippi, who looks at the form of players, I think Totti will definitely be included in the squad unless his form sucked terribly. And he looks like a walking time bomb on the pitch. I think if Totti is to be included, Lippi ought to find + train a backup for Totti juz in case Totti humiliates himself again.

Well im kind of glad that Del Piero wasnt called so now it gives him time to do some hard ass training so he can get back into proper shape. I want him to destroy Inter when we play them. I think they are the next big game.
