dp was average in cheivo game , he was not that good , i am amazed why he cant drible one defender and go to the goal:confused:
Whatever...Did you really watch the game? Del Piero got the best rating and was the best juve player against chievo and you say he was "average"..Then Zalayeta, Ibrahimovic & Trezeguet were mere bullshhit, fvcking mediocre (la Gazetta gave 5 to each of them whereas DP got 6.5)

"I watched the first-half juve-chievo game and I don't want to comment on the incident. All I saw was a really great Del Piero" Moratti to "La Gazzetta Dello Sport"

del piero is always playing more or less average.
his performance is always a little under the average,or a little higher than that.

in the past 2 years, ale is average....

that's the only word i can find to describe his performances...

Del Piero eyes English test Wednesday 16 March, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alessandro Del Piero believes Juventus will draw a Premiership team in the Champions’ League quarter-finals on Friday.

There are no limits on the draw, so two of the three Serie A outfits could in theory be paired with each other.

“I have the feeling that our opponents in Europe will be speaking English,” said the Bianconeri captain on his personal website today. “On Friday we’ll see whether or not I was right.”

The Turin giants go into the draw with Chelsea, Liverpool, Inter, Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Lyon and Bayern Munich.

Del Piero also commented on the controversial 1-0 win at Chievo, as Sergio Pellissier’s goal was disallowed despite having crossed the line.

“There isn’t much we can say about that incident as the ball had gone over,” he confessed. “But we only knew that from the replays, as from my position and with the pace of the shot, I couldn’t see what had happened.”

Fabio Capello responded to the criticism of favouritism by noting that he and his Coaching colleagues had already voted in favour of introducing microchip technology to confirm when the ball had crossed the line.

“Perhaps the only way to resolve these situations is to introduce a technological system,” added Del Piero, “but it isn’t my place to advise those who run the game.”

He was easily our best attacker against Chievo, arguably our best player, so give credit where credit is due, man. We know that DP isn't your favourite but he had a good game in Verona, even my friends who view Del Piero to be passed it, Capello, Moratti and Gazzetta dello Sport commended him on his performance.

Ale's goal against Reggina takes his tally to 171 so he's now 8 away from equalling Boniperti's record. His performances over the last few weeks have been impressive and he seems to be on the right track. I hope Lippi includes him in the Italy squad to face Scotland.

Why can`t you accept that Del Piero is back and was one of the best in last few weeks. Did you see the whole games? I don`t think so.

And i hope that he will be included against Scotland.

I find it kind of strange, when Lippi was at Juventus he would have started Del Piero in every game even he had broken a leg. Now as he is national Coach he is not much of a fan of Alex anymore.

I think he has done the right job so far (Lippi), but he should have done this at juventus too.

but at the moment, Del PIero is playing good and along side Gilardino the best italian forward IMO so i don't understand why Lippi didn't call him up?

anyway forza Alex
