Been looking for this video for ages finally found it. Look at this who the fuck is Messi, look at the precision of the strike CR is not even in this conversation. This pisses on zidanes volley anyone who has hit a ball knows this level of difficulty for a strike.
I miss this man.

and it happened in his first season with the first team. goat level of goal indeed. when a young guy scores one like this, you know that he's a truly special player already. at the end of this season, juve sold baggio and kept this guy, thanks to this goal too.

“Juventus are in clear recovery in all aspects,” Del Piero told Sky Sport Italia and pointed at the defensive record in recent weeks.
“Not conceding goals to win is the old rule, but it’s always important,” Del Piero said. “It gives awareness to your defensive phase; it gives you peace of mind.
“Juventus have the talent up front to score the goals. It’s simple match: if I sooner or later score and don’t concede, it’s much easier to win games.”

Cool. Obviously if you start up by not conceding, then winning is easier. But thats the same as saying that if you start with +2 goals, then winning is also easier.
We all agree that Juve is known for defense first, and that I am also a fan of. But we are known for lethal and direct attacking play as well, thats what made me a fan in late 90'es at least :)

I dont know if it has been posted in here or is well-known, I just read that De Rossi and ADP received their UEFA A licenses few days ago!!
Edit: Posted right above lol. But thats a super cool news!!

Very true what ADP says and it applies to modern teams like City, Chelsea, Liverpool too. They control games. A good way to control a game would be to be safe at the back as much as possible and lethal when an opportunity presents itself. Better players create more options, but you can't lose sight on your main priority - the team. IMHO that's why we are better without CR7.

DP knows what he's talking about - at his teams he as a mega talented attacker knew that if he scores at least once his team will win more often than not, I imagine it gave a lot of confidence and tranquility.
