serious question to the DP hardcore fans, would you prefer him to stay here next year and play as much as this season or go somewhere when he can play more?
he should be allowed to leave on his terms, whatever they may be.

What is apparent is that he wants to stay, but is being forced out.

3 more games away from Scudetto, how do you feel about it emotionally?

* It's a moment that makes me tremble and today we have made a big step forward.

0-4?

* Yes, we were excellent and determined and we are keeping our feet on the ground that it is not over yet, surprises are always there therefore we can't afford to lose points.

It also looks like it's the bond/line that was cut when Juve went down to Serie B and that was when you suddenly turned from world champion into a player facing small teams.

Too many things happened in the last few years, and Serie B was definitely a unique moment for me and I am proud of it.

How did you see football from there?

Look, I still remember when I got into Rimini's pitch, that was our first game, the smell of popcorn and sausage was everywhere, :)lol::lol::lol:) it was really a nice stadium and I can say it was an important beautiful period, it wasn't at that particular moment/time honestly but now looking at it, it's different.

13th of May is Juve's last match and then there's 20 May against Napoli for Coppa's final and my question here is clear, will it be your last game with Juve?

* So far and based on how things are going I would say yes it is and also my contract ends in June but I'm not thinking of it right now. I am only focusing on the remaining match in the league and Coppa, thinking of present is better than future.

Excuse me for insisting so much on this question

* I don't know if I can excuse you.

I think it's important for those to know what's going to happen, the decision looks anything but understandable, you are Juve's icon and symbol, and you can tell us how many of your fans have shown up only for you, are you going to talk to to the President? Isn't there anything new concerning this?

* Fans sentiment was always shown and not only in the stadiums, they show it daily in an astonishing way and I want to thank them for showing thankfulness and love, it always makes me feel great and happy. What is going to happen will eventually happen but right now we are in a beautiful delicate moment of the season and I don't want to mix it with other things, my concentration is only on what me and my team-mates put on the field and results, as for the other issues we'll get back to them at it later, I don't know.

I think it's logically important that everyone knows in the next few days the reasoning and I hope at least things go well in the up-coming days.

* For sure.

You always say that you will keep on playing so long you feel you can give, have you not set a limit for yourself?

* No, I haven't set any limits for myself right now, not that I can play till 60years old, I know very well that I'm closer to final phase but not yet.

I envy you, I have seen your pictures on Vanity Fair the ones where you have your shirt/jacket open and the stomach and all, please tell me it's photo-shop.

* Yes it is photo-shopped accurately [Ale laughs and everyone applauds] it was one of the economical agreements that we had [laughs again]

So this wont be the end?

* I know that I can work good for two more years, after that I will evaluate each year by it's year. :D

In your book you wrote something "It looks silly but the soul and a united squad has a connection with selfishness".

* Yes, because the better you want to be the more you give for your team. That's a good selfishness and element in any team.

Everyone knows what's Alla Del Piero goal, it's a splendid shot that comes from a side and goes into the corner of the net.

* Yes, it's simple, our home wasn't so big so we were in the living room most of the times, our couch was the net and the chair was the goalkeeper and we had square carpets and that's how I was playing there trying to score from the most difficult angle, that was when my father was relaxing after lunch.

Your father was on the couch when you trying to shoot?

* Yes he was on the couch, it was a risky thing :lol:, but the good part is that the ball was made of sponge and then I started using tennis balls.

Why do you take your tongue out when you score?

* I don't know.

You used to do it back then as a kid?

* Of course I did it back then. But few years ago it all started when I scored a freekick against Inter in the last minutes and then we won the Scudetto few days ago. I have seen Micheal Jordan take his tongue out million times but it never crossed my mind back then.
What a great read :) I especially liked the bits about the smell of sausages and that his dad was resting on the couch that acted as goal when he was a kid :D

Please don't make this his last year with us...It will never be the same...The love I have for this man is insane. My regret is never seeing him live, what I would do to simply meet him, even for a brief second, just to say thank you for everything, you are my hero.

Grande Alex, always a legend, a captain, a hero, a god. One day I will be old and I will tell my grandchildren about the great Alex Del Piero, the best footballer I had ever seen.
