Camo was great, but letting him go wasn't the wrong decision.
Exactly. So the only mistreated club legend is Trez (mostly because the club chose to keep dead wood like Amauri, Iaquinta and Toni over him), and now Del Piero (which I still refuse to acknowledge the whole extent of the issue and am waiting in silence to see how things turn out in the end).

Moggi: It would be a mistake if Juventus let Del Piero go

Although Moggi admits that Del Piero is now past his prime, he still believes that the former Italy international has plenty to offer.

"I agree that he is no longer the player he once was, but he can still be decisive, as he has shown recently. The statistics speak for themselves. It would be a mistake to let go of him," Moggi stated to Radio Calciomercato.

"I know him as a person and he is a great guy. He would still be very useful for Juventus, even if he doesn't always play. The Juve directors have to understand that he still has plenty to offer."

I think every top player who stayed with us in 2006 deserves a proper farewell. That's a HUGE sacrifice on their part. It's disgraceful to let them go like that. Especially Camo and Trez.
Yeh, technicals problems apart....those 2 deserved some serious recognition before leaving us, at least taking in consideration the kind of champions they were. Of course, the club is not obliged to do so, but is a nice gesture.

Maybe, but the club also essentially forced many of them to either stay or look bad. Ibra forced his way out, but he's a special needs case. Camo was one of those who wanted to leave initially, and I'm sure the thought passed through the minds of most, if not all.
