Imagine Del Piero joining PSG or some team like that and we'll end up in the same group as them next season in the CL. :scared: What a horrible thought to see DP play AGAINST Juventus.

Del Piero says nice things about everyone and everywhere, because that is what he is like.

"Paris? Yes, beautiful city"
"New York, LA? Always liked visiting there"
"Korean Demilitarized Zone? I believe they have a great project"

I'm pretty sure he'll go to MLS.

Yeah...I bet he'll ask not to play
Wouldn't you want him to play though? And score against Juve & knock Juve out of the tournament, if possible?

My feeling as well.
Based on comments months/years ago. Plus, I assume he actually wants to play, rather than sit on the bench, so MLS would be a pretty safe bet. Unlike PSG, for example.

I'd say MLS is pretty certain, considering he'd get a lot more playing there compared to the top european leagues. I also doubt he would want to come up against Juve in the CL.

You don't know him as well as I do.

What I can't understand is what makes Buffon more deserved than Del Piero to get a life contract offer.

Definitely. Too bad he's not going to PSG. Could suddenly make CL a lot more interesting again.

Probably his age. He'll be showed the door when he is 38 :D

Jokes aside, this management didn't treat Buffon ideally during his injury and when he wasn't in form.
Obviously it's his age. I would say that I don't know why certain people are comparing Del Piero with players that have several years left at the top level, but I do know why.
