This retiring shirt nonsense again.
:agree: And isn't it funny that Ahmed is one of the main people making a case for retiring Ale's shirt while at the same time he was bitching about how we use too many American sports terms in here? Guess where retiring shirts came from, Ahmed. Just guess.

those terms are not America specific, however that is one practice of American sports that I do like.

(Temporarily) retiring a shirt? Really?

If that's the best thing we can come up with to honour Ale, we just shouldn't bother at all.
i agree

i'm still in favor of naming one of the big stands after him, it's something you can do while he's alive and his name will forever be a part of our new stadium

Imagine we had retired 6 after Scirea and 10 after Platini, we would be talking about retiring Del Piero's number 18 shirt or something now. The Juventus number 10 shirt has great tradition and should be reserved for future great players and legends.

imprint his image on the stands just like Scirea and Platini,
no number retiring bullshit please, this isn't one of faggy milan clubs, this is Juventus and we WILL produce another great #10, sure he won't reach DP's heights but wearing it will damn motivate him to try his ass off to come close.

Guys all this talk is pointless, it won't happen, if we didn't do it for a tragically deceased legend we're not doing it at all, ever, for anyone, period.
