“My words were interpreted in various ways,” Agnelli said. “In reality we already were in agreement with Del Piero on the fact that the contract he signed last year with Juventus would be his last at the club, and my only intention was to give him the best possible tribute.
“He made Juventus history and the club’s doors are always open to him. Del Piero and Juventus are one and the same.”

Two months after that statement at the shareholders meeting.
Del Piero never denied any of this and how he agreed that this will be his last year. This was also the last thing Agnelli said about the matter.

Noone's pushing Del Piero out of the club. Look at Del Piero and how happy he is on the pitch, smiling, playing very well. If there was a problem and he was pushed out of the club against his will, he wasn't gonna behave like this.

We're winning, be happy. Since you're Juve fans and all that.
this should be the end of this argument.

Lol, a bandwagon jumper? Dude, I'm pretty certain nobody really cares about being a bandwagon jumper in Serie B. Like I said, FACT is, they all stayed. They all fought to bring the club back and ats really all that matters. Just because Ale or Nedved said thy are staying first doesnt make one or the other's sacrifice any bigger or smaller.
Hmmm, maybe I should clarify myself:

The first one to commit was actually Nedved, if memory serves. Not that it matters either way.
A post which you quoted & replied to with:

Does it matter who committed first?
Hence the sarcastic comment by yours truly. I'll have to try to be more clear from now on.

Stop quoting me out of context. Please show my full reply, which clarifies the situation instead of making a Marotta out of my post! :D

I really don't want to get involved in some of the subjects here becuase when it comes to DP I hate all the man on earth that say something bad about him.

I don't believe that memebrs of the board read any of this, therefore I am asking all of you to send a Facebook, Twitter whatever message to AA asking to renew the contract of the LEGEND. I already did. I know this may sound nonsense and I also know that he might never even read all those messages but I believe that's the only way we can "contribute" a bit.
it's fucking unaccaptable, i just can't see the legend out.

This whole $#@! is pretty damn shady, that's for sure...

Oh and btw, the first one to commit to Juve in 2006 was Cannavaro.

nah, it was Alex, remember that letter? We're all part of one big black and white flag etc etc... where the $#@! was Agnelli then?
DP kept us together in the midst of half the fans blaming and the other half defending Juve of The Triade era.
Letter of the century that was.

“My words were interpreted in various ways,” Agnelli said. “In reality we already were in agreement with Del Piero on the fact that the contract he signed last year with Juventus would be his last at the club, and my only intention was to give him the best possible tribute.

Do you expect Agnelli to say, I want Del Piero out? Of course he's gonna say his words were twisted.

And Agnelli said that his words were twisted after what Del Piero said that this is not how things should work.

The only reason if Alex leaves will IMO be that he wants to play and Conte can't offer him that.
Maybe. I'm not ruling that out, but I wonder why Conte doesn't want to field Ale or rely on him when he's still better than the others.

Looking at how all this happened the management want him out more than him wanting to play and Conte not able to offer him that.

--------------

1- Agnelli announcing this is Del Piero's last season.
2- Del Piero says this is not how things should work in a club.
3- Agnelli saying his words were twisted yet he never mentions anything concerning Ale renewal.
4- Del Piero says he doesn't want to quit football.
5- Conte not playing him when needed and fielding the likes of Giacc's and Boriello.
6- Pluto saying Buffon can stay as long as he wants while Del Piero's decision has been made.
7- Del Piero asked about his future and says Napoli is his future and he's not quitting football and wants to play.

Tell me how this sounds

Looking at his Career, Only Ronaldo ( Fat one) is a more Talented striker than Alex, really, all the thing Alex did, the goals he scored, the assists he pulled and the skilled he showed. I could only think of Ronaldo as a more complete and Talented striker than our very own Del piero.
