Considering he didn't play for weeks and match is on Monday, he'll be ready
Most of the time in interviews when players 34+ were asked what was the biggest change for them each year, they usually dont refer to the drop in speed, but rather the drop in recuperation.
playing 120 minutes, i was certain he'd do that, but recuperating from it, is a whole diffrent thing.
however, alex has allways been an example of professionalism comming to fitness. after his injury, bulking up a bit to make his body stronger. packing a bit more muscle to offset his drop in speed, by higher strenght whilst keeping simular agility (very hard to do). resulting in same succes ratio for dribbels.
i have confidence he can recuperate, and i really wonder, can he actually play again against tough teams as roma, like yesterday, like 2008 ?
if he manages to recuperate, dont take this for granted, it would show how exceptionnel player he is
