I feel the exact same way.

In a world full of uncertainties since I am 12 years old I have had one certainty. Number 10 in Juventus has been Alessandro Del Piero.
I know it sounds silly but I feel thay way.

Football has become so much about money and so less about passion and loyalty that I find very difficult that I will ever seen a player with the historical meaning and charisma that Alex has had for Juve.
That's right... you won't

 I just read the news. I can't believe it. I can't imagine how I'll feel when he plays his last game. I have to see him play before he retires or my life will never be complete.

I don't think we will.

that's why every player that meant something to juve is special in it's own way...we won't see another del piero ever ever ! we will not witness such devotion from a player, such loyalty, such skills, such emotions that he made us feel...he is one of a kind, so we're indeed very lucky that we saw the greatest player juve ever had and probably ever will...

I'm almost sure that Del Piero is going to America for one year. Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, but I know some football journalists and this 'American Dream' is something Del Piero always mentioned.

So don't be suprised if he's gone for one year, but immediately make his comeback for a technical role in the following season.

Long live the Legend!

Yeah. The club has had some truly great players over the years, from Charles, Boniperti and Sivori to Cabrini and Scirea, to Platini, Conte, Vialli, Zidane, Nedved etc. I could've mentioned many more. They were all great, and exceptional, and I must praise Scirea in particular, for all that I have learned about him. As a player, as a captain, as a man, he was simply fantastic. But even he falls short of Alessandro Del Piero. I know some italian juventini from the generation above me who remember Scirea's Juve very well. Most of them even agree that Del Piero is the greatest captain.

I must agree with this comment. There will never be a greater Juve-symbol than Alex. Just don't see that happening.

Why all the hate on Agnelli... first of all it wasn't a secret that this would have been Del Piero's last year at Juve.... he is a great, but they all gotta stop at some point and hell yea i'll probably go through a period of withdrawal or some shit like that but we knew it was coming. I have been an avid Juventus fan since 94-95 so I have not known a Juventus team without Del Piero... I was even called Del Piero by my friends and teammates back in the day (mostly because of my affection for the player and not so much because of my skill lol) but we should honour his greatness by lapping up every second that we have left of him.
Agnelli did nothing wrong, it wasn't an announcement, just a confirmation at most and I am sure that he wouldn't have mentioned it if the matter wasn't already settled with Del Piero himself.
Forza Juve...Forza Capitano... the best captain EVER!!!!!

Glad I got to see him play live numerous times. And got to meet him up close & personal (albeit extremely briefly).

I'll get over it though.
Hell, I still remember the time when I disliked Del Piero (bugger was forcing Baggio out ). Those feelings obviously didn't last :D
